There's a lot of people talking about the benefits of psychedelic mushrooms for things like depression and addiction. I've tried small doses recently. It feels pretty awful during the high because you feel all the feelings that have been repressed. Also, it can make you feel queezy. However, just a day and half afterwards, I definitely feel like I feel more positive about life. It's not legal yet in my country, but I can see why the discussion about mushrooms is being opened once more by mental health researchers and specialists.

I did mushrooms once in Amsterdam. I swear by it, it changed my perspective of myself.

I can relate in some ways. Im a firm believer that crying is healthy. Im a high stress neurotic person who hasnt cried in months and just thinking of that makes me anxious about my own current state.

​@@mozillafirefay The fact that I havent cried in a while makes me anxious, thinking of all the stress and depression wound up inside of me , and how this could manifest. Im functional and work 6 days a week, but I often have a lot of brain fog and fibromyalgia type symptoms which makes me prone to a physical injury or somthing disastrous like losing my wallet or keys.

@@thunderbird4709 there's not really much I can suggest (or if your even looking for a suggestion) but it does sound like the more you suppress it the more anxious you'll get. Is there a safe space you can start addressing these feelings (independently or with a professional)?

​@@mozillafirefay Im an artist, so Ive decided to get to get a sketchbook to express these feelings. Almost all the the art I do is paid or commisioned professional work, and I realize that I havent taken the time to do art for myself. Im also going to start taking vitamin b12 and regular vitamin D supplements since my diet is mostly vegetarian , only with occasional fish. Appreciate your concern , and I didnt mean to dump my problems into your lap, especially with the fact you also live on a low income like I do. But I couldnt help but relate to a lot of what you're saying

@@thunderbird4709 I think that's a very good idea ❤ and no problem at all - I'm always happy to listen/read/internalise. Communication and managing the interpersonal is what my profession and life revolves around.
