Bad mom in societies eyes

Today I wasn’t graceful. I wasn’t delicate. Or patient. To outsiders looking in, I have a lot to work on as a mom. But to me, the person living in the middle of the chaos just trying to make it to the end of the day…I’m doing a freaking amazing job! Some days suck. There’s really no nice way to say it. Some days your kids wake up on the wrong side of the bed and nothing you do makes it better. Some day you just can’t keep up with all the: “I want” “I’m hungry” “play with me” “play with me again…and again…and again” Some days you tap out mentally, emotionally, and physically all at once. Sometimes only minutes after waking up for the day. Some days you wake up counting down the minutes until you go back to sleep. And well…what I’m trying to say is that you’re and amazing mom. What you feel is valid and normal. You are NOT a bad mom. You’re an amazing mom who’s doing her best.
