I enjoyed it… Vince Vaughn is perfect for this comedy noir and I’m glad to see him play to his strength in this leading role. Nice touch of magic too.

At the beginning, why didn’t take fingerprints of the arm to find out who it belongs to.

It was in water. Sand erodes away a lot of smaller details. To reconstruct the fingerprints would take quite some effort.

If you like Hiaasen's books, skip this. None of the dark and outlandish humor of the books. Ted Lasso goes to Florida. The narration is weird.
