I remember a bunch a weird Disney movies from the early 2000s. I think they were "losing money" and were trying anything. At least the stuff back then was different from each other and some of them actually slap.

I did read somewhere that they wanted to start making movies about the rides and shows because Pirates of the Caribbean was such a hit but they couldn't recreate that success

@@kingnusmi they're still trying. There was a Jungle Cruise movie last year and they made a Haunted Mansion movie with Eddie Murphy a long time ago. I remember liking it as a kid.

​@kingnusmi They were actually really hesitant to make Pirates of the Carribean because Country Bears flopped. The higher-ups pushed against Gore Verbinski and Johnny Depp, and had a lot of creative differences. Fortunately Gore and Johnny stuck to their guns, and we got the phenomenal classic trilogy... and the... other two... which exist.

Imagine if instead of being a dick, Beary's brother feels bad for Beary when their parents try to convince Beary that he's NOT adopted, but then Dexter (the brother) can't take the guilt anymore and decides to show Beary the truth about where he came from, but then tries to tell him, "Buddy. Even if you aren't biologically related to me, your still my brother. That won't change.". Beary would feel conflicted cause on the one hand, his adopted family does care about him, but he feels out of place, and then decides to journey off to Country Bear Hall. Heck, maybe BOTH brothers could've journied to Country Bear Hall. Imagine that.

Man, I owned the Vhs of this film when I was a kid, used to watch it over and over again. I forgot it sometimes, but when you’re a fan of country, you remember something like the Country Bears at the most random of times.
