I think the factors of back to back weeks on the heels of Beetlejuice plus Black Friday coming up lead to lower sales. About 30%+ of the cards torched there's only going to be about 700 of those Joker grails claimed.

I think It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is a great fit for Droppp. The show's got a somewhat niche following, so making a massive production run probably wouldn't work out. Now, they can sell a bunch of digital packs and only commit to producing a small number of physical items. Smart strategy, Funko!

I would think this will be more along the lines of a mini drop like they did with Jay and silent Bob… Something like 6000 premium packs and 7000 standard packs or something like that.

The more that are burned and aren't claimed, it makes the physical redemption more rare though...Considering the redemptions take months to fulfill, you would think they would wait to produce them based on only the ones claimed, not "destroy" the unclaimed ones where they show up at warehouse sales for a few dollars

To be fair they prop do wait, which is why it takes months to get them in hand. They prop out the order in once the wallet snap shots are taken so they know what to order.

It truly isn't that hard! People assume it's hard because they don't want to do anything more than run their credit card, which is totally understandable. We thought it would be super complicated, but we promise it isn't nearly as complicated as it sounds. You should try it sometime if you like a drop!

Those redeemables sound accurate! Also, from the looks of it, it looks like the Sunny set won't have a freddy funko as the royalty since neither of the 2 on the card designs look to be a freddy funko & usually the royalty is on the art for either the standard or premium packs.

It isn't complicated unless you purchase crypto! That's when things can get a little weird. We never purchase crypto, we just buy packs and hope for the best. If we need crypto, we sell the cards we have duplicates of or don't want. I completely disagree on the nft issue. The Batman set was imo a perfect set and should be the new standard for all nft sets moving forward. I’m honestly shocked that it didn’t sell out and kinda disappointed in collectors for this one.

Real question, isn't it a good thing when they burn packs? Doesn't that make the pops count lower? Like instead of 999 grails there will be like alot less. The number of Pops doesn't stay the same, right.

Not necessarily, just because the packs are burned doesn’t mean all 999 pieces can’t be pulled. Yea, it makes it harder but not impossible. From GC interview with drop, the packs aren’t pre determined. Once they rip they pull Random cards from the “digital pool” of cards for the set

Ehhhhhh not really, it shows lack of interest, which means that no matter how limited they are, people don't really care. So they're producing low piece counts with not much of an interest which won't hold much value.

You're both right, the DC NFT was trash and people just don't want to learn how to buy it on the after market. Totally understand why because it can be a bit complicated and its not the same as just buying something on Ebay. The only decent one is Franny imo NFTs do sell out still, hope this is a warning to Funko to stop releasing turd nfts

Well maybe if there wasnt 900000000 Batman and Batman Related Funko pops already, this would be an interesting drop. Funko just cant get off Batman's D. There are so many other DC characters they could do. Plus. Not everyone has access to the NFT drops and when we do get a chance to grab one, resellers are asking for my second born and a kidney. @Shade7272 As NFT pops, they aren't special. As regular pops, they'd be cool. People spend a lot of money and put in time to NFT pops, and they should really stand out. I really do like the set. I will not get them cause drop is just not something I want buy. All of these sets would sell out if they just let people buy them with their debit/credit cards. All these sets need to have glow/flock/ metallic/ whatever. They should be unique. Why would these digital ones that are suppose to be special be basic ass pops. So dumb.

The majority of the sets aren't special enough. Most figures have a good standard of detail and paint, but where are flocked Pops? No diamonds. Haven't seen many metallics or blacklights. The recent horror drop with the goat demon, accordion monkey and black shuck would've been a lot better as flocked pieces. Get creative Droppp
