Agreed, hell games take much longer than even 6 nowadays. Even back in gens 1 and 2 it took them 5 years to make those games, meanwhile in gen 3 they were working on 5 games at once. In an interview with the dev at the time of Ruby and Sapphire, RS were finishing production getting ready to ship out, meanwhile they were also within the process of making Emerald, FRLG, and DP, already starting on the legendaries Dialga and Palkia, no names maybe not even designs, but the theme of time and space was already boiling in the water. Let's let them cook, even if it takes a decade, you cannot rush art.

My hope is they take a good heavy chunk of time for the mainline release of Gen 10. Seeing as it’s an anniversary of sorts. It’s really important for the franchise and I think if they nail that game by fixing the problems they had with scarlet and violet, we could get the best game since Gen 5. My wishlist is voices for the characters! The cutscenes at the very least!

It's funny because I just saw a video that had strong evidence for ZA starters. It also claimed that if they are in a similar timeline to Arceus, then they would be releasing the game in Febuary, which is strange since we have seen no news.

Considering their one of their main agreed upon mistakes is lack of QA and rushed releases. Many fans are older now, a lot of people are losing faith in their main series titles. Arceus was a great beginning to a new series. Imo one of the best in a while. Take the time, give it good features, I hope they work on the art style and designs for as long as they need

Absolutely loved Legends Arceus. People complained that it felt empty and unfinished. I loved it. It truly felt like a world unexplored by humans and thriving with wild pokemon. I have tons of hours in Legends and I can’t wait for Z-A

It was also well written, even the side quests are cute, and the new stuff was fun (mechanics, alpha pokemon, pokedex missions, distortions, etc.). They made the pokemon alive with their unique animation and interactions. I also loved it. It was so fun exploring PLA and I hope ZA builds on it.

@@danielle6133 I agree. I loved the detail in choosing which pokemon you decided to use for certain quests. Any shiny pokemon you gave to an NPC remained shiny in their models. Also the overworked pokemon being shiny was brand new and the sound effect they made when spawning made hunting so nice

@@MomagicLol I think that gameplay and mechanic wise, it's actually really great. Terastallization has given so many more options for Pokemon that couldn't provide much competitively. However, I can't pretend like the graphics and performance are sub-par at best, especially around Casseroya Lake. Yes, graphics aren't everything, but is it too much to ask for something pretty to look at?

To me I think it’s more likely than ever that Legends ZA won’t be on the current Switch console and will end up being on the Switch 2. The reason why I think this is that most rumors themselves so far indicate that the Switch 2 in itself will come in 2025. And of course Legends ZA is said to be coming in 2025 also. So more than likely we’re gonna need to buy the next gen Nintendo console just to play Legends ZA. My advice is start saving for it all now as opposed to later. Plus this year 2024 in itself is almost up is also why I say so.

Arceus had bad exploration. Empty open fields with only pokemon spawning, very few points of interest. Like the clan villages are the only things I remember when exploring, everything else looks the same. Also the combat isn't good either, losing abilities and held items isn't made up for by the agile/strong style thing.

As a youtuber I follow said, I think a new trailer it's probably gonna release rather in October or December, I think it'd be way too late to get the marketing campaign during the same year. Based on future card releases, the hypothesized and the leaked ones, he calculated the game might be out rather in July 2025 or August 2025, given 9 months of proper campaign. I also agree on him saying that they are taking time because it would've been probably a mess like, if not worse than, scarlet and violet. But I do hope they're still gonna do a good job with the lore and character development, after all the sixth gen is the most wasted potential ever in the series for so many fans: you get a lot of critical informations about AZ in an interview to Junichi Masuda by game informer, that now does not exist anymore.

I'm curious on how they're going to make lumiose (sorry for the misspelling of the city) large enough and deep enough without compromising the level of detail. Taking an extra year was super smart of game freak; some games dev studios could do to learn from this (looking at you Ubisoft). I'm still a little disappointed at the level of bullying the pokemon company and game freak have displayed regarding other people's projects or creations but hot damn am I still excited to see the results.

Those always happened after the Gen double them(ie like HGSS happened in Gen 4, ORAS in Gen 6, ect.) with the exception of FRLG during Gen 3, but that was because the Gen 1 and 2 games couldn't transfer up to Gen 3. Special exemption from the rule.

ZA is gonna be a legends format similar to Arceus, but not Arceus. It’s gonna have megas and is gonna be closer to what we all know and love, but they are gonna add aspects of Arceus to it and I’m excited for that. I enjoyed Arceus, but I don’t want all of the games to take that turn. Arceus was a unique, different game compared to the others and that’s what made me like it. I don’t wanna see them making every new pokemon game similar to Arceus, no offense. I love Arceus for what it is, and yeah I’m excited to see exactly what ZA is gonna be like. I’m hoping it’s gonna be like Arceus in the sense of how we’re running around, using pokemon to help get us places. That’s my guess
