I feel that this song sounds better live than on the record. Bad Religion are fantastic live performers.

What you see, not for me, isnt what you planned to be, But youll have what you wanted in the end along the way. And well try as we cry and our brothers pass us by, To be strong through the ages of our tears along the way, yeah.

Pat Brown... you don't fuck around. :) Thanks for the video, man - much appreciated. I actually knew a kid from Florida named Pat Brown. But he wasn't the one from the song by the (old) vandals (I'm old but not that old).

I refuse to abuse what is kind to the Muse, But it's there and it's happening to me along the way. As we go through the snow, we cannot forget our foes, But the dinner's always waiting at the table 'long the way, yeah. What you see, not for me, isn't what you planned to be, But you'll have what you wanted in the end along the way. And we'll try as we cry and our brothers pass us by, To be strong through the ages of our tears along the way, yeah. Now we grow as we show that the morals we must know Will be shaken and mistaken by the falls along the way. But forget, don't regret, to find love and happiness Unless you're willing to be strong when they are gone along the way. Like Tommy, you are free, and you will not follow me, Until we see each other once more on the path along the way

@patbrown911 Indeed. I watched BR live this summer, Im 21 years old and I was expecting a regular punk concert with moshpits etc but nooooo. 30% of the audience was ~ 14-16 years old. Everytime somebody tried to enjoy the music, the "Peace and love-guards" told us to stop immediatly... Still awesome music tho!

@patbrown911 theres nothing like seeing a band like this that has a ton of energy when thye play live in a tiny little venue...big rock shows just dont do it for me... the small shows are more fun and to me the bands sound better..obviously its all a matter of opinion.. but i love that close atmosphere of a super loud band in a tiny hall with everybody in it together...so much fuckin fun....beats hangin out in stadium seating and giant open air festivals
