It's amazing a 16 year old was writing that stuff.

Martin Spud Actually, Greg was 15 when he wrote 'Slaves', 'Politics' and 'World War lll'. The other three songs were written by Brett, who was 17 at the time. It still amazing tho

so ahead of their time and still they don't get the respect for being a part of the first wave of hardcore punk, many see them as a 90s punk band.

I remember when this ep came out I first heard it on Timmy Sommers show in NYC. Went out and bought the ep. Every time the first song ends I still hear his voice shouting "That was Bad Religion... with.... Bad Religion"

I seen them so many times I couldn't even say . They were on top of there game during this era. Not too many groups could do it and they had it for a few yrs. The first two recordings are great south bay punk thanks

The first Bad Religion I ever heard was this EP... except it was the 1984 12 inch remixed version. That was the only version I heard for many years, until they put out that '81 to '85 CD. These songs sounded different on it, and I had no idea why. I had no idea the original 7 inch and the 12 inch had different mixes. Possibly just my own personal bias, but IMO the 12 inch version sounded better. And it really chaps my hind that I can't hear it anywhere. :::Edited Feb 2021- Someone finally posted it recently! It's called 'The Original Bad Religion (12" repress and remix)'

The only thing you're missing is "The Original Bad Religion" 12" from 1984, it's basically a remix of this ep, and pretty hard to find, it's never been put on cd. It's on youtube now, you should add it to your channel before it disappears again.

I don't know what everyone is on about. Bad Religion made 16 albums after this and only 4 are shitty.
@GrayWoIf6 жыл бұрын
What are the 4 for you? I'm gonna guess 1) Into the Unknown, 2) No Substance, 3) New America, 4) Dissent of Man. Was I close? there are my personal least favorites.
