Side note, they recently reformulated the Differin Dark Spot correcting serum with the ban of Hydroquinone, it's now a 4% Niacinamide serum with Sea Buckthorn Oil

What I think people with normal/dry skin don't understand is that the oil produced by your face is slightly tacky/sticky. So, it might look like a beautiful glow, but it's not the same thing as applying a facial oil or having an illuminating skin product. If the wind blows, all of your baby hair stick to your face unless you blot/powder every few hours. It's also extremely uncomfortable when it gets really shiny, like you have a thick layer of makeup that's been sitting on your face for hours, even if you're not wearing any makeup.

Yeah.. Only people with dry skin will say someone is glowing when they're actually feeling oily and greasy 😂

🙌 Raising my hand for the question who has never used a makeup wipe on their face - me! I’ve always thought they were horrible- uncomfortable, hard to use, ineffective and so wasteful! I’m 52 and people say I dont look my age at all- I contribute it to good skincare from a very young age.
@IevaKambarovaite3 жыл бұрын
Same here. Never used a face wipe. I'm originally from Lithuania, so when I was growing up I don't even remember that many face wipes around. But it could also be because my mum taught me to cleanse my face ALWAYS. I may have gone to bed without washing my face less than 5 times in my entire life. I'm 34

I just have so much trouble with the idea that sunscreen is so hard to get off that you have to double cleanse, but so fragile that you have to reapply every 2 hours. I can see having to double cleanse if you actually follow that rule set forth by the sunscreen providers and have 8 layers (applied in the massive amounts recommended) on your face by the end of the day.
@coochie1163 жыл бұрын
Sunscreen in direct sunlight loses its spf after a few hours, but the actual cream will still be there! Aka you need to wash it off thoroughly at the end of the day or the leftover missed residues of it can break u out! Just like u would with makeup!❤️
@aarondoherty87623 жыл бұрын
The cream base will stay, the SPF value and protection is what needs to be topped up
@msk-qp6fn3 жыл бұрын
The fragility yiu said refers to sunscreen's ability to protect us from the uv which does degrade overtime no matter what which is why you should reapply. Although I do agree with using an oil cleanser, not that I am against oil or balm cleansers I just think cleansing twice with whatever cleanser you have should be fine. I just use a water based gel cleanser twice and it works fine.

Yeap..! 🤷♀️Only heat triggers my frickin' melasma on my cheeks pretty noticeable. I try to avoid it and the sun as well. I just started using Naturium Tranexamic & Azelaic Serums recently and I'm glad my skin reacted positively to both prods. It's upsetting to try to incorporate or simply change prods into a skin care routine just because of the possibility of an allergic reaction / irritation. Also, I was a little hesitant about trying the Azelaic serum at first because it contains vit c, which my skin gets kind of irritated with its use (that's why I stopped using my usual despigment serum) but I'm glad everything is controled at the moment.

I thought Susan wasn’t big on double cleansing if not wearing make up? Maybe I have her confused with another YT’r. I personally don’t think it’s necessary. It’s so much wasted product and if I’m not feeling up to putting make up on for the day, I’m certainly not willing to double cleanse lol
