I personally love his vocal tone, the genre of song for his solos, he is king of versatility. Honestly one of the best in the game. But also Chen and D.O the other two members of the holy trinity are also incredibly amazing and one of the best in the industry. "Underrated" is not the right term to describe P!nk. I think she's underappreciated as a vocalist. Those who know P!nk definitely could attest to the greatness of her singing. Some of her biggest hits are vocally demanding songs like Just Give Me a Reason and F*ckin' Perfect. However, people don't necessarily include her in the conversations on powerhouse vocalists etc. P!nk has been super consistent as well. I wish she would score more huge hits in the near future because it has been awhile since she attained one.

Now from yellow to green sounds, was harder to understand, more open often with more vibrato and remembers more lyric (opera) singing than brodway.
@KenBarbz Жыл бұрын
The thing that distinguishes a yellow to a green is resonance and emotiveness. Both check the boxes for good belting technique but green belts take it a step a higher! I have a question for the singing nerds! What is happening physically when someone’s vibrato starts virtually as soon as they sing a note, vs. someone whose vibrato starts towards the end of a note? Is one inherently more healthy for the vocal cords than the other?
@Cfts22 Жыл бұрын
In my humble opinion I’m not a specialist but I think the vibrato starting as soon as the note is sung shows that the sound that is produced comes from a healthy place, breath, support and vowel are aligned. And the vibrato starting towards the end of a note is also a healthy thing but generally those are sustained notes. Vibrato takes a lot of air and support so if you want to sustain a note it’s better to start with a straight note (helps you sustain) and end with vibrato (sign of healthy singing and aesthetically pleasing)
@adamsamess2163 Жыл бұрын
A note starting out without vibrato, and ending with it cleanly is regarded as the more “proper” route from a classical standpoint. Like classical and more old-fashioned training always point to ending a note with vibrato rather than singing it fully with vibrato the whole way. But I’d say whether note has no vibrato, is ended with vibrato or is sung fully with vibrato doesn’t really indicate “health”
@mayboy128 Жыл бұрын
@@adamsamess2163 Huh. I’ve always read that someone having vibrato indicates they’re singing in a more proper, healthy way. Why do people say that? At this time, I can only produce vibrato in my lower chest range and in falsetto/head voice. But I still think I sound pretty in the middle and high parts of my chest voice range, at least 😅
@mayboy128 Жыл бұрын
@@Cfts22 Thank you for your answer, Mr. Fletcher!
@adamsamess2163 Жыл бұрын
@@mayboy128 Its a common misconception amongst people that vibrato = good technique which just isn't true. You can sing with poor technique and still have vibrato, as this video displayed well. Vibrato is simply oscillation in pitch, and while vibrato is often easier to access if you're singing while relaxed, it doesn't actually mean anything and only really appears as a requirement in more classical or old fashioned training
