For me the easiest way was just to get the Deluxe editions. Just buy them in order.

Sometimes I just gotta give it a shot. Thats how I discovered Once and Future, Descender, Something is Killing the Children, Klause, Locke and Key, the list goes on and on. Iv only had a few books I blindly bought I didnt like. But I do want to read this one before they announce a 2nd book.
