@@Jamie-ww3yz A Voodoo would no doubt be badass but there's just something refreshing about this stroked SBF under the hood. It has the restomod suspension, wheels, and brakes, damn Street rod level paint, and a period correct engine with modern touches. Sure a Coyote, Voodoo, or Predator would make more power and make this thing really cool. But with a SBF is sets it apart from the EFI late model swap crowd. Answer this, what would be cooler at a car show a 69 Charger with a stroked 440 with a huge Procharger or 426 Hemi with a nasty twin turbo setup or a Hellcat under the hood with a 3.8L Gen V Whipple? All 3 would make insane power but 2 of them would be just that little bit cooler, with a period correct engine with new technology and nostalgic sound and feel. We love Restomods because they take something old and make it drive and perform like new. What's wrong with putting that same mindset towards the engine of a project car?

I really like that they went with reasonable sized wheels. I've always thought that 20"+ wheels look out of proportion on a classic muscle car.

Yeah 17's are a good size 'they still look pretty much period correct . The wheels on this car are a good choice too' they look like torque thrust's.

My goodness the red LED's behind the quarter luvers are incredible looking. What an effect it creates. Insane build. Very lucky man.

My second car was a '65 fastback, factory 289 K code 4 speed. I had so much fun with that car & beat several other cars with it!❤ ps This car is light years ahead of mine,but I only paid $650 for it in '71!

@@michaelhood1291 that's great, but you will never connect to that machine the same way some one that turned every nut and bolt, spent weeks filling and sanding, designing how the chassis works. I built my first car in an apartment single stall while going to school and working two jobs and maintaining a social life. It's about passion and work ethic.....you're driven or ya ain't simple as that.
