The guy was so good that omar ibn Al khattab (the leader of the Muslims at the time) had to retire him because people were starting to believe that victory comes from Khalid, while omar wanted them to know victory comes from Allah.

And what is more awesome is, as a Muslim he obey his imam/leader (Omar) without further questioning . Imagine if he was Roman general, he probably gathered his loyal troops and get them into mutiny. That's why Muslim at the time are invincible. They cannot be bribe or seduce with anything in this world to betray their brother in faith. What strategy can enemy have to defeat Muslim if that's the situation...

The death of Khalid ibn Al-Waleed A few days before his death, an old friend came to see Khalid at his bedside. Khalid: “Do you see a space larger than the span of a hand on my leg which is not covered by some scar from a sword, arrow, or lance?” The friend examined Khalid’s leg and confessed that he did not. Khalid raised his right arm and then his left, for a similar examination and with similar results. Next he exposed his great chest, and here again the friend was met with a similar sight. Khalid: “Do you not see? I have sought martyrdom in a hundred battles. Why could I not have died in battle?” Friend: “You must understand, O Khalid, that when the Messenger of Allah named you Sword of Allah, he predetermined that you will never fall in battle. For that would mean that Allah’s sword had been broken; and that could never be.” Khalid: “I die even as a camel dies. I die in bed, in shame. May the eyes of cowards never rest even in sleep.” -Ibn Qutaibah: pg. 267, Khalid ibn Al-Waleed: pg. 442

Once again if you can't get real evidence that supports your claims you are just false lighting one of the sahaba which is prohibited in the Quran.

It’s quite odd that Umar didn’t like Khalid and relieved him of duty when he became caliph due to this incident. It wouldn’t make sense for him to dislike him for no reason

Not undermining Ali R.A, but the prophet S.A.W did instuct Abu Bakr R.A to be the imam in solat when he, S.A.W was very sick. It is also narrated that prophet S.A.W said, " The best of this ummah after its prophet S.A.W are Abu Bakr and Umar Radiyallahu 'Anhumaa." And there is a hadith where Abu Bakr R.A asked Prophet S.A.W about the doors of heaven. And the Prophet S.A.W replied, there are hundred doors. There is door of solat, jihad, fasting, To which Abu Bakr R.A said, " He who is called from all gates will need nothing." And added, " Will anyone be called from all those gates?". And the Prophet S.A.W replied, "Yes, and I hope you will be among those, O Abu Bakr." Bukhari, 3666

This man single handedly defeated the Persian and Roman armies at the same time… literally decimated the Persian military in which the Persian empire surrendered itself to the Muslims, and the Romans gave Jerusalem in good faith for surrendering. It was the start of the Muslim golden age where knowledge from Europe and Asia flooded Arabia in which we have modern day STEM and Medicine today cause of it. It was also the very beginning of religious tolerance, as all religions had safe haven and harbor sanctuaries for all religions in the Muslim dominion. A very bloodless transition of power. He also told his army to make multiple camp fires per person and have them frequently walk around them at night which gave a illusion that there are several soldiers sitting around each campfire and then so many more just walking around randomly which created sufficient doubt in the minds of the opposition as to the strength of the Muslim army thus holding back on attaching and giving Muslims enough time to retreat. Genius.

Once before a battle with the romans a roman general came to him and told him: i heard you left arabia because of hunger and poverty, why dont i give each of you 10 coins and some food and we can settle this issue without war. Khalid said: we left arabia because we like drinking blood and we heard roman blood is tasty. The roman general went back to his people and said we are about to face people that are not like anyone we faced before. Khalid basically planted fear in his heart before the battle even started, he was known for being extremely smart and he knew how to win a battle using his brain before his sword
