Despite being 10 years old, this game is still a masterpiece. And in case you girls don't know, those blades are high frequency weapons meaning that the technology within the blades have high frequency vibrations that make it easy for any blade to cut through almost everything except for another high-frequency weapon. And since Raiden is a cyborg, he can use his cybernetics electrolytes to slow down time.

@@swigmcale7555 To my eyes, they know they can't outdo Revengeance. It's such a neat closure of just about all of Raiden's saga. It honestly covered everything, and ended it in a way that capstone'd what people will think of Metal Gear. Every quirky outlandish thing has pages upon pages of thesis grade material backing it up. All of the villains just took on existing things already touched on in prior MGS games. Another repeat can't be done. Lightning's already struck twice here.

ya know, i got into that game, Alan Wake, recently. i love games like that because instead of being enhanced human beings or mega gods or some weird shit like that, it's literally just a normal guy doing his best to survive and escape a nightmarish situation using nothing but his wits and the tools he has at hand. i find that a lot more badass than being a cyborg with a lightning sword that's able to cut a skyscraper in the blink of an eye.
