South london stylee ... bowl (wander/walk) round Coldharbour Lane down Camberwell road, up Denmark Hill and down to East Dulwich... boom see your bro's graffiti (some of them RIP) the cars driving past Beemers busting this track top volume- used to be Kool FM 945 busting warper drum & bass but this house style came back- you got the vibe 100% right tho- broadcasting over the night sky from a transmitter on your roof over your city, phone line blinging non-stop- shouts out to your crew ahh yeh :)

It mixes well with TJ cases stuff. He was top producer as well. The scene was thriving so many big tunes. Bloody hell it headache trying to recall them. Pirate radio tapes are great for remembering some of the forgotten gems. You always find tracks that way.

yes dubstep was, and is the sound of the streets. it came from dark sounding garage tunes like 'hobsons choice' & 'stone cold'. tunes like those are what widened the spectrum. the roots of dubstep are diverse though.. grime came from garage too, it was sort of a parallel to dubstep in the early 00's and they were closely intertwined..the drum and bass 'bristol sound' is heard in dubstep too.. umm.. reggae plays a big part too.. Burials style is another one altogether. its diverse man!!

Im 17 and been producing dubstep since about January and been listening to dubstep for over 1-2 years and the first artists i heard was Rusko, Caspa, Cragga and others like that and then sinxe then i've started ot enjoy loads of artists. However its only rescently i started to check out post dubstep and the origins of where dubstep began like Burial i now get it and i now realise that post dubstep creates a real emotion and gritty feel to the song as if your out in the empty streets at night
