I filled in playing drums in the Primates for a show up in San Francisco. A lot of pranking and mayhem. The mid to late 80s were a great time for 1966 to reappear.

This band is the reason Primus has their name. Primus was originally going to be called Primate, but this band threatened them with legal action. So Primate became Primus. 😅
