My XJ6 is at the 'scrap it' or 'throw money at it' stage. It's worth more as a parts car. But I'll not let it die, so it's now with a specialist who will get it back to as it should be. Magnificent cars.

Fern grey with moos green leather, the camouflage time of Jaguar - very special - very rare I was looking for this combination with manual box for years from Denmark to Sicily . I found 5 fern grey cars in the web within this time - but no Moss green seat and no manual gear box Finaly I gave up and bought a black car with beige seat and manual Happy Driving - greetings from Germany

Here's a top tip, when closing the bonnet stand in front of the car facing the car, place your hands 'palms up' and grip just inside the grill with fingertips, then with a smooth motion lift and the bonnet will close without crashing as long as you get your speed correct. THIS IS THE CORRECT WAY TO SHUT A XJ6 bonnet.

From my experience working on those in the UK and Austria during my misspent youth I can confirm it was a very good price. Back in Blighty for that money you'd get a rust bucket requiring hours and hours of cutting and welding. It's also the desirable 4sp OD, most were sold with Borg Warner autos. If as I suspect you in Canada got a similar spec to ours (Austria can have lots of snow) then it may even have a limited slip diff. One thing I've noticed is it has a nose bleed stance which it should not - ask the seller what springs are fitted up front (V12?). Cheers from Austria.
