Going on YEARS Uncle Skully, my favorite part of Saturdays is the SDS and the consistency that comes with it. I hate that truck mode and cannot unsee it. Pretty paint is just lipstick on a pig. Meanwhile, I'm rolling my Bad Cube all over the damn place like a 5 y.o. with a Hot Wheels. Have dropped it, kicked it, juggled it, even sat on it. Thing just keeps on... _truckin'._

It's an ugly truck for sure but, for people who like toon accuracies, it's a darn good looking truck. However, sometimes they can be taken too far, like Takara Tomy Trailbreaker. Bought it and sold my Fans Toys Trailbreaker and a few months later regretted it. Sold that and rebought Outrider. The frontal looks fantastic and the alt mode looks fantastic but I just hated how it looked from the sides as it looked unfinished.

You really did fall out of love with Fans Toys. 4 Dummies were pretty tough on the latest FT preorders, but it’s your collections and opinions so it’s all good. FT makes some seriously odd decisions and it would be nice as to why they do the things they do sometimes. They still to me are the kings of MP scale figures giving us something new very regularly these days well over Official products and other 3rd parties. Expensive? Yeah ridiculously, but for the most part you do get what you pay for cartoon accuracy or not.

Absolutely love the VS. series and this one ended as I thought it would, with FT blowing BC away. I have 2 BadCube figured and they will be the last 2 as well, their Sideswipe and Huffer. Both have sever issues but the Huff is way better than Sideswipe. He at least has some diecast in him. I have one thing to point out as it causes, or may cause, confusion. At the end with the final tally, in voice over you said 10 - 2 but the card showed 9 - 2.

I like the Bad Cube better because it cost me $30 and I don't care about the G1 version of the character that much.

I cancelled my pre-order once I started seeing reviews for him as I'm not a fan of the chrome feet. I lost my $30 though as that was the pre-order deposit. Sadly, if I didn't pre-ordered and he sold out, then it's the scalper market, which I refuse to do. I ended up buying Gears instead as he was sold out but they ShowZstore had more coming in.

To say I'm satisfied with FT on this one... only because there isn't anything better atm. They could have done more with the legs, made the shoulders better, and OMG the square torso drives me nuts. It's sad to say how good it is on top of all that, but why fall short with what they did put in it :/ As far as BC, it has its pluses but... I can't escape the happy meal look it has.

It would be interesting to see a clean sweep, price always has a chance to sabotage that. However, when we eventually get to the scrapper/ constructicons vs we're going to see some real upsets imo. Booking my front row seat now.

Still like the Badcube better, but I would definitely try to mod it so the fenders tuck inside like on Grump. Not a fan of the animation accuracy thing Fanstoys is always after.

Good review. We knew FT would dominate this one didnt we? Its a nice time capsule to see where the figures are at now, except price. I know it doesn’t change the score, but BadCube’s Gears has a gimmick in the chest where there is a cassette thing you can remove as its that thing from that one episode. I dont thing BC Swerve had it though. Just something I noticed when I went back and watched. I the fact that BC won anything but price is interesting given its almost 10 years old? Are you going to get FT Scourge/ Inquisitor? I believe it drops this month from what Ive heard. I enjoyed your 4 Dummies episode. Cant wait for the Zeta vs FT Superion.
