Great little build. I just started a soft wash business. I purchased the North Star soft wash system from Northern Tools ($418.00 on sale), 100 ft of Flexzila hose, and a roll around hose real. I did one job that paid for the soft wash system and have two more on the books. I don't want to go in debt, so I will be upgrading as I grow.

Man, I started with all my equipment in the back of my venza. Then, upgraded to a 4x6 trailer, hose reels, mosmatic swivel ball valve and sh tank. All still running on my little 4gpm. 🙌

Great video, great setup. You are exactly right on how to progress as you grow your businesses. I started out the same size trailer with a 4gpm from home depot. That setup paid for my up grade to a enclosed trailer with a Mini Pro Max Softwash/Pressure Washer Skid from SESW. Like you I have no garage big enough to store the equipment and I did not want my equipment setting outside when not in use. Cliff you are the man. Wish you the best.

Yo! Hope all is well. Great video. All I can say is I couldn’t agree more with the concept of grow as the business grows. I started started 5 years ago. I’ve owned a landscaping company for many years that basically operates itself. My point to saying that is I could’ve dropped piles of money into pressure washing. I didn’t. I wanted it to stand or fail on its own. I did “borrow” a landscape truck but started with a HD 4 gpm machine and built a basic batch mix soft wash setup. The Honda motor that powered the 4 gpm is still in use but I have a 5.5 CAT pump on it. I can’t tell you the hours but it’s many thousands. I’ve had a new 6 gpm setup in my shop waiting on it to die for two years. I have two soft Wash 12 volts. One is two 7gpm’s. The other is a Pumptec X6. I don’t need anything bigger. We do a lot of big houses but I’m very efficient with the 12 volts and 5.5 gpm. What helps is everything has a remote valve to shut off or turn on SH. No back and forth. It works great for me and I’m never down. I also like having a compact rig. I’m constantly in old historic areas where access and parking is not easy. I have a trailer but didn’t care for it for those reasons and others. I fought for two years to find someone to operate the truck and didn’t have much luck. I stopped looking because I realized I really like doing the work. Anyway it’s what works for me and that’s what everyone needs to build… what works for them.

Great advice! I’m new and can admit I’m buying equipment piece by piece trying to get to the most efficient and professional looking rig. It’s easy to watch KZbin and fall down the rabbit hole. Where you guys fishing at? I used to live on Anna Maria Island. I miss it. Just went back and vacationed there last month. I started with a van then graduated to a 6x8 trailer earlier this year. I liked the challenge of designing and fitting all of the equipment in an efficient way into the trailer. Nice video 👍

Great setup! How's the 24 gallon tank holding up? Runnings has a great price on a bigger one but I'm wondering on how well the LDPE does compared to HPDE

Jason Says "the 24 is just a water tank, so holding up wise, no issues yet. The seams are all still good. No cracks. It doesn’t deal with any corrosives, and living in Florida helps because the tank never freezes. When it gets hot, it doesn’t expand"

Where can i get some lefit pressure hoses? Ive been reading reviews on all types but i see failure on some. Im trying to get atleast 100ft. Right now im trying to move on from carrying in my trunk to a 4x6 trailer i just got. Did a bunch of work out of my cars trunk. Some with high end tickets. Everything has been done as a part time. Next year im trying do more work for myself. Work slowly but steady comming in. I think i can do a lot better next year.

Do you mix SH or use it straight when using a down stream injector since it’s mixing with water through the injector? I mix it when using a sprayer but not sure with an injector.

No. With an injector you just downstream the sh straight.

I wouldn't do it. Direct drive pumps don't draw water from a buffer tank very well.

I’m trying to figure out if I should do power washing with an M 5 twist or Softwashing - I’m very confused and how to even advertise what to do ? Pink Flaningo what are ur suggestions starting out

@makycaris4672 I like downstreaming which is softwashing with the pressure washer. Softwashing doesn't mean 12v or gas soft wash or air aoft wash. Softwashing is just washing with low pressure which can be done wofh the downstream injector and a Jrod nozzles or M5 twist nozzle. The major difference is "dedicated" softwash systems can't operate surface cleaners. So ultimately you'll need a pressure washer. Just some education for you

So basically a downstream injector is one of those snow canons that get attached to your pressure washer but they have all these goofy names am5 twist etc - all I guess would have to do is use a pressure washer with it and just add your 30/70 mix of SH - they use all these fancy names to grab your money Those canons u can put bleach or extend the line to a 5 gallon bucket or so than to get all these 300 gal barrels and u only use the SH on the mold pre clean post clean I assume

@makycaris4672 no those are foam cannons. A downstream injector connects to the pressure washer and it injects the sh or mixes it with the water. The m5 ans jrod is just low pressure nozzles which is needed for the downstream injector to pull chemical. It won't work with high pressure nozzles which is why it's called soft wash
