Hi Jasmine! I just wanted to let you know how much your videos have help me and my family. I’m usually a pretty good budgeter but on the other hand my boyfriend isn’t 😒 Starting this year I sat my boyfriend down and made him watch your videos with me. We both make good money (neither of us good anything back for tax income, we actually have to pay every year, just to give you an idea of how much of good money we make) but we sometimes both make bad decisions when it comes to money and spending (I won’t say it’s all him - but it’s all him LOL) you’ve made it so easy and enjoyable to follow along and I’m very much grateful that I came upon your videos! I juat started stuffing envelopes, and only have a couple envelopes started as work had slowed down and we were really tight on cash. That being said for the coming month I already have 2 bills paid so they are already a month ahead. Worked has picked back up and my husband is now doing overtime so we will be able to do more. This has helped me soooo much so far. Also it's so satisfying to here you push those crip bills around to count🤣

I bought a house where no internet provider will go. Didn’t learn that until after the fact. I use nomad internet! Smart TVs, multiple phones, an iPad, and security cameras. Worth looking into! I never have slow internet.

I took January's challenge and divided it evenly between my priority funds. It's been a great way to boost them up starting out. I may keep doing that, but I haven't decided yet. Regardless, the money is saved and there if we need it! 🖤

I'm trying to learn and get started, but I see you have a lot of cash in all your envelopes. At what point do you deposit to pay for things, or do you do that as you go and are spending money on your card, so as you spend you replenish your bank account? I guess I'm just confused at what point do you move the cash to pay for things: ex. pay your debt or pay your 401k, etc.

I don’t know if you’ve ever talked about this but how do your bank accounts work? Like in my mind you have all the saved money in 1 savings account but keep track of what amount of it goes where through your binders and then 1 checking account for stuff you spend (besides cash envelopes). Like is there a way you could explain or like write it out or something?

One savings account works fine for me. Some stuffers use the fake $1000 bill to avoid too much cash in the house. My overall philosophy is "keep it simple." The more simple your cash budget the more apt you are to stick with it.
