If you guys wanna see the movie/scenes that made people see Cena could be hilarious, check out the bloopers for Train Wreck (Bill Hader, Amy Schumer movie). He had them crying laughing on set. I feel like I remember some interview where Amy says that he's got the chops for being a really good comedic actor. I wouldn't be surprised if he was picked for the role partly because of his performance in that movie.

I know this is years later, but if you go back and rewatch the intro to this show with the foreknowledge of how each characters story ends, you will see a LOT of nods and secrets. From what characters show up when in the dance, to who is dancing with who, and the moves they do. Every episode you watch gives you more perspective but the intro remains the same. Also yes, the music as per typical Gunn is fan freakin tastic

My brother viewed it on television when he was a teenager. We viewed it when we were younger whenever Grandpa viewed it. But anyway, long story short, hmm. Okay, I've seen JC as the firefighter. I've seen him as "Peacemaker". I've seen him promoting "Make A Wish" and his interviews on talk shows and for entertainment news. Growing up... Oh never mind! Guys, soon as I saw this was becoming a series, I knew it was gonna be amazing, because Peacemaker was my favorite part of the new Suicide Squad movie. This part was made for Cena, and like you guys said, this part may actually in some part be him in real life. I remember reading in one of Chris Jericho’s books that Cena not only would out drink Jericho, but one night Cena actually carried him up to his hotel room, tucked him in, then sat there and drank everything in his cooler or mini fridge until morning.
