The way they combine the plot with the seemingly non important jokes.... last episode showed that Murn has very little emotion and then shows that the butterflies also have little emotion. Then the joke about "if it walks like a duck/duck in a human costume" then the reveal that Murn is a butterfly. So damn good!

The figure on the dashboard is Ultra Bunny. He's an original creation by James Gunn who holds a sign that says "Obstacles are opportunities," which is James' personal motto. He actually first appeared in Suicide Squad 2 on Rick Flag's yellow shirt.

@@BaddMedicine Fun Fact: Ultra Bunny is based on James Gunn's personal perspective when he was fired by Disney a couple of years ago, and it sturred up controversy by fans. "Obstacles are Opportunities" is basically James Gunn's way of say that despite everything he was still able to get another shot, kind of indirect insult to Disney. (honestly quite hilarious)

The way that Peacemaker keeps seeking validation from his old man, and that little nugget about the old man loving his brother and not him… makes me wonder if Peacemaker was jealous of the attention, and drugged his brother in an effort to get the attention on him? Like that’s some deep rooted psychological shit.

I think Waller does know he’s a butterfly 🦋 because he mentions about making amends for his past. So rewatching with you all now makes sense. He doesn’t want to talk about the butterflies because it will expose his story to the team.
