I noticed one thing about the hindi version is that the subtitles are not same as the original version(even some powerful dialogues were cut short). The original version has more explanation and meaning to the dialogues in the subtitles. I would suggest you guys to watch any film in it's original language(even subtitles vary from language to language), because then the movie will have more meaning to it.

KGF 1 & 2 are event films, they were celebrated in the theatres just like a festival. I recommend you see this directors upcoming movies in theatres as the crowd is nuts and you will feel like a concert / celebration is going on. KGF 1&2 are not meant for the small screen , that is laptops/home viewership. Try to see the spectacle in theatre , next film from this director is 'Salaar' , try to go big screen on that, as such event films are best felt with the crazy crowd on the big screen . Actually No on recognized him, because no one knows him there... He is famous in Mumbai, where he grew up to become a don. Then some people knew him in Bangalore, because of his antics with Kamal and the girl and their goons... But once he goes to KGF, he is a nobody, The people there live in small villages and they have been kidnapped to work as slave labor. The guards never leave KG, so they don't know him either. The police station scene is a flash forward, it happens after he has taken over KGF and becomes popular in the whole country as one of the biggest gangsters in India.

I would like to suggest some movies:- Sardar Uddham - Movie about Revolutionary who took revenge of Jallianwala Bagh Massacre (1919) under British Rule. Oscar worthy movie and best movie from India this year. Andhadhun - Movie with many twist and turns it's better if you get into the movie knowing less about it. It's about a blind musician whose life flips upside down after a certain incident. 3 Idiots - One of the best movies from India. Based on Indian education system and how pressured the Asian students feel with proper blend of comedy.
