Ich war dabei ♥ Danedream ist einfach die Beste! Pastorius ist auf zu langer Distanz super gelaufen und Ovambo Queen hat sehr überrascht. Was Novellist gemacht hat ist mir unklar, auf jedenfall ist das nicht das Pferd das es vor dem derby war...

So eine wie Danedream wird es nicht mehr geben für 9000 Euro bei der BBAG Auktion gekauft und zum Besten Pferd der Welt auf 2400 Meter den Prix de larc zu gewinnen ist Unglaublich danach auch noch die King George in Ascot zu gewinnen das schaffen nur wenige bis keine. Wahnsinn

Danedream looks fit. A run in the 2012 Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe is next.

Why do you say that? The horses who finished 2nd-6th in the Arc have all won Group 1s since, a combined total of 9. She beat Nathaniel in the King George and there's basically nobody she hasn't beaten. Camelot won't be turning up (not that I rate him anyway, his form is really dreadful), neither will Nathaniel and for my money it's just a straight fight between her and Orfevre.

If he shows, and I think he will since Camelot is likely going to the St. Leger, I think Imperial Monarch will be a tough beat in the Arc. He hasn't had as many chances to shine as Camelot, but I don't think Camelot's a whole lot better than him. It's hard to beat a top class 3yr.old in the Arc with the weight for age break that they get. Just look at how many 3yr.old's have won the Arc over the years. That said, if Orfevre brings his very best form to Longchamp? They're all running for 2nd, IMO

Danedream should've won this race, because she frankly wasn't running against a whole lot here for a German G1 race, IMO. It would've been pretty embarrassing for her connections to have a filly that's won the G1 Prix De l' Arc De Triomphe and the G1 King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes that couldn't have beaten this lot. But my money says there's not a snowball's chance in hell of Danedream repeating in the Arc this year. JMO.
