I’m making a layup build that’s 6’9 with a 7’4 wingspan. It’ll have 93 layup eventually 97 layup along with 89 strength eventually 93 strength. All of that with the cap breakers and the tier 1 +1 and tier 2 +1 badges towards physical finisher and layup mixmaster will make those legend. Then the 93 strength will give me legend strong handle. 3 very cheesy legend badges. Also I feel like real player % for lay settings is the best. Every now and then I make difficult layups while missing easy layups but it’s still the most overall consistent layup setting. You really don’t have to time anything even with an 85-93 layup let alone 97-99

Got a 6’6 pf that has strong handle legend, immovable enforcer legend, 99 layup, and 92 close shot. Paint prodigy pairs really well with the driving layups in general. After this update, I’ve been using high risk timing and it’s made my build even more fun to use because it’s finally viable. As long as you can time these layups and have a high rating, I think high risk is the way to go (or at least normal.)

i got a 98 layup / 95 3pt / 85 strength SG/SF build and (if used right) is nearly unstoppable. the only area its lacking is it cant move around as quick as a guard but (again, if used right) is super fun to play on. Even was able to get a 85 perimeter D and 80 ball handle so its decent in 1s

The difference in effectiveness when you look at 99 post control vs someone with 99 ball handle, or 99 Driving dunk is ridiculous. 95+ Stats need to feel like it ACROSS the board. It’s a 95+ Stat. 90+ Stats feel like 80s in previous 2ks, which is also just ass.

I been Playing 25 since early release! I just downloaded 2k24 back today……2k25 is such a cluncky game like it doesn’t even make sense what happens on my screen half the time…..im a pretty good 2k player been playing since 2k10 RNG shooting is the worst i was 67% from 3 on 24 im 46% on 25 ….offense gets rewarded when you play good defense…..centers out of position easily rebounding over centers in proper position…..make it make sense! Supposed to be a basketball simulation half of the things in this game dont make sense 2k is cooked

You can make strong handle activate when the defender is on your hip or making contact , flick the rs up while driving toward the basket & you get an animation. I use it alot in transition & it helps create space & get open

so with those new realistic animations, and the RNG, and a ton of creators posting that this is the worst 2k of all (which, it isn't) you think 2k will keep working on that system? or fall back to the old system for next year? I bet they keep this.. i think its workable. I think they can get to a good blend of realistic animation and not having the game literally do stuff FOR you...
