I’m halfway through a clutch replacement on my 156. I feel your pain. If I had to do the whole job a second time, it would only take half the time. We live and learn. Thanks for the vid.

This one had a clutch a few years ago which is probably why the bolt was already dodgy. It's a learning curve, but much less frustrating than the Holden I had the misfortune of working on recently. Cheers

Shiny balls and a tool that works is most men's dream come true. The boot banding went a bit smoother than the last time, and it did my heart good to see it. A bit of payback for Betty's gearbox....

Well, it was worth the wait. I can now see and fully understand why its been a while since your last upload. Video post production must have kept you occupied for a good few evenings too? I really detest those inner drive shaft allen bolts with passion! The last one I did on an old VW, every single bolt both sides ended up getting dilled out. Anyway, good man for sticking with it and getting it done. David in the U.K

Thank you David. There were a number of challenges and a satisfying conclusion. Plenty of time taken to do the job and edit the video. I was in no hurry at all, but glad it's over! Cheers

Apparently the patience thing does not exist with me. But you have it in bucket loads.

I just checked and I made this video over 5 weeks. Lots of small pockets of patience joined together to give the effect of a cohesive effort! Cheers

Do you think the leaf was an original Italian leaf or one from NZ?

It tasted like wasabi, so I think it's been there since the car was in Japan

How do you disengage the activation button on the brushed motor ToolPro angle grinder skin to make it able to turn on? Because I've read the instructions like twice said he won't move an inch literally. I haven't been to manufacturing plus since I graduated 5 years ago so I don't really remember how these things work that much and it's really bloody annoying to not be able to use it!

Sucks when simple jobs go sideways from stupid problems. This is the exact reason I don't rebuild cv shafts , I'll keep putting it together in the wrong order lol
