Bought my 2014 2.2 crdi 4wd santa fe 5 months ago. Signed a warranty for it for $800. Today came the first snow, noticed that there is no engagement of the rear wheels. 9 dec is time leave in the car to the mechanic for a diagnosis. Hope that warranty covers the costs!

One very critical point is to make sure the oil pickup is clear. Nothing like doing all this and later find out that there are "rubber" crumbles half blocking the oil pickup in the pan. After all, that's one of the major problems with this design; oil starvation.

my terrano transmission failed in Canada, Thank you for this video as it has helped me understand the transmission. We didn't get the terrano in North America just the Petrol pathfinder. I have many questions about assembly, i purchased a brand new crate fs5w71c trans from a 88 D21 4x4 with a z24 4Cyl motor. I understand i can swap the case from the sandwich plate to match bellhousings for the TD27, The trans i bought was equipped with speed sensors, would i have to make any modifications for the diesel

I know this is 4 years late… but yeah I’m having some issues with my 2014 Santa Fe Sport AWD. I’ve started to notice that my tires will sometimes lose traction while going around some corners and accelerating, which has never happened before. When I have the car on the lift, start it and put it in drive, a bunch of traction control and ABS lights come on. When I press the AWD lock button, only the front driver’s side wheel AND the driveshaft spins. I’m concerned with this, because I wonder if there is an issue with the real driveshaft/differential coupler AND possibly the transaxle. The car only has 75,000 miles 😅

As a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport AWD owner. Don't ever go off roading with these cross overs. Mine has 103xxx miles. Im on my third set of front sway bar links and second set of rear sway bar links. They blow out so easily

I had both engine failure and transmission failure in the course of 2 years on my 2015 Santa Fe 2.0 Turbo. Fortunately Hyundai completely covered the engine failure in 2022 but I paid $5,000 for the transmission and transfer case replacement. I have had all scheduled maintenance prior. Until the last 2 years I had loved this car, but once it hit 100K miles it’s been problem after problem. I will never buy another Hyundai. Hondas, Toyotas and Subarus are the best. Hyundai and Kia are cheap imposters.

I just had a p0299 on my 3rd turbo snd it was the exhaust manifold gasket this time cracked in 2 places. I went with a felpro gasket that isnt solid metal, its something else. It has some give and thickness to it. I have higg hopes for it. My dorman turbo looked great on imspection. No cracks and turbine was good.

Anyone taking on this job a helpful tip. Use a bit of wood as a bonnet stay the other end of the engine bay. That way you can put the metal bonnet stay down and out of your way. Good video ❤
