You can also drag a template onto an existing project in the new track area and it will annex the template into the project you’re working on.

Thanks, refreshing and dynamic tutorial. Your description of template leads I to dig more in this. fav tips i never use is this hidden track folder work around, genius, i plan to add another folder for elements that can be reused in another project, a dope drum roll, or a particular scale etc. Great that Live give the possibility to réorganise things according to our mindset.

USEFUL TIPS About the point 3 (that is anyway super useful and I'm going to do it), instead of write parameters on paper 😄 you can select all the chain and than copy and paste it to another project, and all the values stay the same. You can copy and paste everything from one Live project to another. Abount the point 4, when you pass your mouse on a send you see in the bottom left corner of Live what that send are linked to. Hope this tips could be helpful for someone 🙂 and really thank you for some of your tips cause they are going to be a real game changers to me 🙏🏾♥

I also created folders under places called " Celebrity instruments. " I re create the instruments of the famous producers or good producers with their processings on and save these name by name. infact i ll create a folder for you too. haha i remember seeing some real cool sounding stuff on this channel. thanks for the video. i knew all of these ableton tricks. will be wattching for more.

Q: When you save Default Template it creates a new file. Can you overwrite an excisting one? 👌

Yes, you can by naming the new one the same as the one you want to overwrite! It will ask if you want to overwrite and you just say yes!

Hmm. Seems like the whole aux/send concept in Ableton is kind of messed up. They should fix that. I guess they want you to just use the dry/wet knob on an insert? Is that why this is like this? Cool daw. I always wanted to get into Ableton just because of the vast amount of educational material. Maybe I'll take the plunge during the holiday sales I don't know. Thanks for the tips.
