@@pauljohnstone547 Yeah m8 but when I'm listening to it I'm hearing a note change on the top E string which means you're not keeping your finger on it whereas most tutorials on the song are like Am7 is x02013 where you keep you finger on the B and E string so I tried it on the 2nd Fret playing Bm, A or Asus4, G and Dsus2 and it sounded to me okay.

@@FretboardFundamentals so having just had a quick mess about there, I think there's a 2nd guitar with a capo on the 9th fret (sounds mental but try it) You can definitely hear the different voicing during the chorus, try Em7 with ring and pinky finger on the b and high e, then go to D then Cadd9 then G with the step down back to Em7. This guitar isn't strumming during the verses, I think it's doing the finger picky bit. I'm gonna have a mess about with your suggestion as well with capo on 2. I'm now intrigued

@@pauljohnstone547 Funny you say that as I got the chance to speak to Phil Palmer who was the session guitarist for George Michael and he said that George would also have one guitar playing without capo and then record another guitar with a capo on to give it a fuller sound. Now you've got me intrigued with the capo on the 9th fret going to give it a try. I appreciate this m8 as someone asked me to do this song for a tutorial and since I can't find a video of Noel playing it live I'm kinda guessing.

Hey man, good work. So would you say this is the "rhythm guitar" part of the song? I have watched other covers and they do the lead guitar part with solos...etc.

Yeah this is just a rhythm part that you can play along with the song.

@@FretboardFundamentals thats freaked me out. i am the same height but had a few too many burgers. its probably my body shape that makes this guitars feel too big. 🙂
