Not everyone who does these comps is overweight. This field was, however, the hot dog smashers are all in decent shape. Couple of those guys are in better shape than me. Joey Chestnut absolutely is as well, he's in great shape. The woman who ate 50 dogs is also on the thinner side. I get what you're saying, but it's not a celebration of over indulging. These people aren't eating like this 24/7. I would suggest doing a bit of research. If you're looking for something to be annoyed about, there are plenty of shows that have ran for years that do glorify being very overweight. Also, this whole "beautiful at any size" thing America has been pushing. I don't agree with it either, but it's essentially been forced into being accepted. Nothing we really can do about it.
