Self thought. Richard never followed music classes i'm aware of. Thats why his music is so good and pure. Nobody told him what or what not to do. His mind is without boundaries. A good lesson to all musicians as far as i am concerned.

Notice how the drums complement the melody in a very unique way? They go together, instead of the drums doing 'their thing' and the melody doing 'it's thing'. That's how music should be. Beautiful.

yep, his music is very diverse, but this album in particular I'm crazy about, especially this song. Pitcard is equally as good i think. and yes, after listening to 5 of his albums I've come to the conclusion that he's a genius. you might not see it at first, but when you really start to listen to his songs, it's made clear, no doubt about it :)
