Oo nga eh... everyone wants to get back on court to prepare for tournaments... i hope this virus comes to an end soon! How’s everything there? Have you guys started playing?
@BenjieBiyahengPilipinas4 жыл бұрын
Badminton Coach Kennie yes Coach, the courts are now open here through reservations only. We’re hoping not to get shut down again since our Covid numbers are quite high.
@CoachKennieAsuncion4 жыл бұрын
Same here... badminton was on the list of sports that can continue and in other city courts are operational but san juan city where our courts are still dont want us to publicly open because the city has high covid rates ☹️☹️ so we have to wait for our local gov’t unit to give us a go before we do....

Check what your team needs in general. Is it stronger shots? Is it faster footwork? After determining that you can checkout my other videos and use exercises from it. You have to mix and match depending on your teams needs! Thanks! 😁🏸

Which towel grip is best synthetic or cotton
@CoachKennieAsuncion4 жыл бұрын
It’s really a personal prefernce... i don’t like the towel grip only because when you sweat a lot and it dries it gets hard & rough but other people want that rough feeling bec it doesnt slip from your grip... so it really depends. You have to try and know what you want... 😁🏸

Hello coach how we can make our mind more strong in thinking about our game
@CoachKennieAsuncion4 жыл бұрын
Our mind just like our bodies need training. So training the mind would mean consciously thinking during the game- where you get your points and where you miss them so you can do more of what gets you your points and cover spots where you miss them but most importantly, train your mind with positivity and always find solutions to weaknesses when playing. 😁🏸

@CoachKennieAsuncion2 жыл бұрын
You and your partner need to work as team. Set up for each other and attack when time is right and when possible. Being offensive can get you more points😁🏸

Please tell me mam.....some more improvement in my game as I am left handed.........my right side is weak ......... please.......world best coach ..... love you lot......
@CoachKennieAsuncion4 жыл бұрын
Left handed players are known to be fast learners and have quick reaction. It is good you have already determined that it is your right side that is weaker, you can improve on that by having a coach or sparring partner give you more shots on the right so you can practice it or mutli shuttle drills that will allow you to practice that right side... 😁🏸

coach, I started playing late at the age of 16, now my first tournament will be U19 although I am 17! i am so nervous cuz everyone is saying that I am going to get knocked out....any tip specifically for me??💀🙏
@CoachKennieAsuncion3 жыл бұрын
Focus on the game play. Do not entertain unnecessary thoughts about the outcome or whats going to happen. All those are guesses. If u play it right you have a fighting chance. Know where u get points and cover places where u lose points. Focus on every point not the score not the outcome. 😁🏸

@CoachKennieAsuncion4 жыл бұрын
You have pressured yourself too much based on winning alone. First and foremost before you go on court for your game, make sure naka warm up ka ng mabuti in that way umpisa palang nakakagalaw ka. Second focus on one point at a time. Based sa kwento mo nakikita ko na na bawat point na nawawala sa yo lalo ka nafru-frustrate or nagpapanic. Focus on what gets u ur points and cover ur weaker points. Focus on those if u win thats the bonus if you dont u learn what you need to work on... keep on going... all champions have encountered losing before winning... 😁🏸
