Damn, your reviews have always been truly top notch; brutally honest, uncompromising, realistic, no bs, no frills and straight to the point, what viewers need to actually hear. Your weighing of pros and cons and opinions are solid and unweathered, and any complaints aren’t heavily watered down like most techtubers, and yet, you acknowledge the point of personal opinion etc. Love your work man, cheers. Ps. In the 60% war I caved and got the Anne Pro 2 lol. Much cheaper where I’m from, and I prefer the look + it feels easier to customise / modify as a starter base. Thanks for the reviews!

Thanks so much, again! I always appreciate the time someone takes to write something so thoughtful. I'm glad you were able to make a decision - another reviewer I watched recently - Minimalistik - expanded on the idea of using it as a base for a custom build and while thats a bit outside of my wheelhouse currently, it definitely make me look at it in a different light.

I loooove the pok3r, have had mine for about a year and a half and have had no problems. I think the price point is really built around the build quality. I take this thing to and from my job daily, use it at home for gaming, and have never noticed a single issue. If you're willing to pay the premium and mini USB doesn't bother you, it's definitely worth every penny

@mamorris236 жыл бұрын
I responded to your IG post about this, but I will reiterate. I have the pok3r 60%. It's a good keyboard, however like you said compared to the ducky one 2 mini or anne pro 2, it's overpriced with worse keycaps, stabilizers, and features. My biggest complaint has got to be the stabilizers. Too rattly. Makes it feel far less premium than it should compared to the great aluminum plate that gives it the feel of quality. The Ducky is far more bang for your buck. New subscriber since your Ducky one 2 mini review, love your videos.
@badseedtech6 жыл бұрын
Thanks man! I could definitely see changing the stabs if I opt to keep this board. It has great potential but Ducky just changed the game at that price point.

Been sporting the Pok3r RGB for a long time now. Out of box, the issues you brought up are real. However, since owning from way before. I have swapped out the keycaps with nice PBT keycaps as well as taken it apart to clip, lube and tighten the stabilizer. The keyboard has been an absolute dream since all these have been done. Board still loooks brand spanking new after a couple years of owning it. It is dated due to the USB connector, but if its going to remain stationary at your desk the whole time, its not really too big of a con. looking forward to owning a ducky one 2 mini. As I'm really enjoying my ducky one 2 TKL as well.
@badseedtech6 жыл бұрын
I could totally see that. After you've spent the money on the upgrades, that build quality really comes into play. IMO Ducky just changed the game with how much they offer at such a cheap price point. People don't get it with using them in person but something like the Anne Pro 2 and the Poker are in totally different leagues quality-wise.
@gideonserapio68556 жыл бұрын
@@badseedtech Hey Brian! I guess i didn't have to wait too long for the one 2 mini to come! I was just wondering, i noticed that there's a small gap between where the black top plate connects with the white bottom plate on the sides. So when i look at the keyboard from the side, I can see some light bleed. For someone who's been used to the case quality of the pok3r and mild OCD this bugs me a bit haha.

I have the Pok3r RGB. The reason I bought this over the Ducky is because of the Nature White MX switches. Ducky doesnt have them. Its the best switch on the market and it is weird how nobody is talking about it. Its like red switches but just abit heavier. Not as heavy as the blacks tho. They have the same accuationforce as the Blue switches but they are linear. I didn't like red switches cuz I was making too many type-o's. But the Nature White switches are amazing for typing and gaming. I will never use another switch. Hopefully more keyboards start using these switches ^^

I have an Anne Pro 2. It feels like it's still in beta. If you leave it wired you either have to change S4/S5 power settings in your BIOS, or unplug it and replug it in, every time you turn off your PC. Other than that though, I'm more than happy with this keyboard. If the ducky came in the same case as the Anne Pro 2, I'd probably buy it, but I hate the 2 tone look of the ducky case.
@badseedtech6 жыл бұрын
Man, you said it - I think I literally said that in my Anne Pro 2 review. I'm still debating ordering a second unit just to see if mine was a fluke but I've got a lot of feedback, like yours, of people who had similar experiences.

Shame about the Poker 3. I have their Racer 3 (75%) and it’s by far my favorite keyboard. Got it with MX Clears (I hate how light Browns feel), PBT DSA style keycaps, beautiful font and nice gray style from the 90s. Plus some extra caps with colors for various keys. Best of all: it also has some programmable functionality and Colemak built in. The cable sucks though, same dumb cable but micro USB. I got a nice braided cable to replace it
@badseedtech6 жыл бұрын
If you're willing to dump some money and time into the Poker, i definitely think it has potential to be a great board. If money is no object, you could create something REALLY solid that would probably last you forever. I did forget to mention that this board also has dvorak and colemak.
@classicrockonly6 жыл бұрын
@@badseedtech Oh cool that's a plus that it has the layouts built in too! I bet it could do the Colemak Mod-DH change too since the instructions for programming keys is the same.
