so I just watched a video detailing some of the intricacies of the AI, and apparently the bigger the weapon you carry the bigger the threat level the AI will consider you. If you go in with a pistol or SMG the AI will take longer to notice you, but if you go in with something bigger like an anti tank rifle then the AI will consider you a threat more quickly. This is also why racking up a body count is a bad idea, the more of them you kill the bigger a threat you become and bigger units will come after you. (mechs will also fire on you rather than simply ignoring you to focus on vehicles) Edit: Also Loved how you talked about FEAR, such a good game with excellent AI and level design. The issue with FEAR 2 is that there were no good "arena's" for the AI to traverse around in, which lead to them getting herded into your line of fire. The two things when talking about good AI in relation to FEAR is twofold: The AI itself, and then level design allowing the AI to traverse and flank.

I haven't seen the corelation with bigger weapons making you more of a threat in my 60 hours of play. it is true about killing though.

1:09:00 man did the bunny hop. 4:00:00 ish Could add more micro management to hub and have end game be self sufficiency, Tark style. Could scale water mechanic with it to satisfy some people. So you only risk losing everything at start but by end game when you have something to lose your hub has enough community bringing in water that it doesn't risk a wipe. I honestly just expect bosses to be the end game, but think there is a lot they could do, from mech take down to piloting if they wanted to.

"Is hjaving 12 different handgrips in the game really worth the bloat" - yes it is, have you not played Escape from Tarkov. Having a rich and varied assortment of equipment and items in the game that you need to learn about and scavange is a core part of the fun (and one reason why Grey Zone Wafare is quite boring at the moment).
