Thanks for this review! One question - does the bottom of the sardine handle have wear as well? Different than the intended marks and scratches? I saw a preowned one that had a ton of wear at the bottom of the handle towards the “tail” end and I couldn’t tell if it was forged that way or true wear!

I checked my sardine and the tail does not have intended markings, they are only on the body. I don't think it would scratch much with wear either. Hope that helps!

Hello there. I have seen this exact bag in the medium size with an additional long thin strap, as well as a small coin purse inside. Can you tell did yours have these features when you purchased, or is this an earlier model perhaps? Do you know the details of that?

I bought the first version of the sardine without the strap. They might have the coin purse in the new model, but mine did not have it.

It is tricky to navigate, when you're out and about, but I love it enough to be able manage it.
