That was the bizarre part for me. I'm the kinda guy that really buys into a movie and the performances, even shitty ones, and yet here she is, not acting for money but for survival, and it's like...without a director saying 'cut! Change this and this and this' she cannot act. I was shocked by how poorly she acted when her everything was on the line. It's like, channel your fear, or channel your anger, or something, anything, because you come off as bizarrely half in and half out when it comes to committing to this performance. Like a real life actor making a cameo appearance in a movie or something. How is she an actress?
@__idfk__

@@charlieb1575 The thing is, Amber had no fear or anger, not only because she wasn't abused and had no trauma to cause such fear or anger, but because she was so cocky about all this and thought she had nothing to worry about, even though she had no evidence to support her. She really thought that she was going to win just because she's a woman and the justice system often sides with women when they claim domestic abuse even when it's false/has no evidence, so she thought she could basically just do and say whatever.

Heard claims that the way that she concealed a bruise was to 1. Put on foundation 2. Apply concealer and then 3. Use a color correction pallet, which she also suspiciously referred to as a "bruise kit". I'm a male, but I have a lot of theatrical experience, and what she described was the exact opposite order necessary to conceal a bruise. What she described was the steps necessary to fake a bruise using makeup. The makeup palette used to create a fake bruise is known as a "bruise kit". Pathological lying and idiocy are a poor combination

Thanks for pointing this out, I completely agree! I would think one of the female jurors knew this as well or realized that it wasn't a real bruise. JD is also right handed like Amber who gave him black eyes and bruises on his left side, not the right. What's also fascinating was an actual bruise kit in the photo with JD passed out with ice cream in his lap.

Even if you have very little theater makeup experience, you know that you color correct and conceal first. It's actually weird that we call it "foundation" when, in most cases, it is not the first layer on your skin.

@@cadetpatricia3921 Yup. Absolutely. You know, that just goes to show how bad Amber Heard is at this. When watching this trial I immediately ascertained that Johnny Depp is right handed and so is Amber Heard. There is very low probability that if she was struck by Johnny Depp that the bruise would be on the right side of her face. But oddly enough, I also noticed in the photos where Johnny Depp had a black eye or bruise, they were always on the left side of his face. Be a better liar and faker, Amber. I wish they had brought up that bruise kit in the photo. Camille Vasquez could cross-examine her and ask "is that one of these?" and hold up the same fucking bruise kit. I don't know why that wouldn't be allowed as Heard's cat lady lawyer was able to parade around with the Milani correction palette that wasn't made until 2017. I also suspect that many of Heard's photos of so-called injury are actually the result of cosmetic procedures such as Botox injections and cheek filler. I think for her TMZ TRO photo she had an existing injection site that she just "touched up" a bit

It's a setback for liar, manipulators, false accusers who decides to destroy someone's life and reputation with false accusations and lies. With this verdict the Metoo movement MEN too shall be considered as victims of DV. What AH have harmed that true victims of DV would be believed with much scepticism. It should not be believe all women or all men but don't dismiss the accusations outright. If someone comes forward with accusation it needs to be thoroughly investigated and the accused shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Oh, her kid *can* leave, and they probably will once they're even close to old enough. An ex-friend of my mother did nearly the same thing as Amber Turd, abused her husband (who's now happily married to my mom lol), cheated on him several times, and had major issues with people leaving her. It went as far as her STALKING my mother after she (mom) broke off contact once and for all, and just a week ago that crazy woman turned up at MY door, and I hadn't seen her for at least a decade then. My mom is now in contact with a lawyer for a restraining order, btw. This ex friend has a daughter who is just a few years older than me, maybe 25 at most. After the ex friend showed up, I got a message from her daughter, and now we're back in contact. Turns out, the daughter had left at just 17 years of age, managed to move into a new place with friends and dropped out of school. A while back she started working as a waitress at the restaurant of a friend's father, continued school and graduated properly, and is now working to become the new manager of that same place she was a waitress at. All I can say is that if there is a will, there's a way.

Dont even get me started on the text messages between Depp and Amber's Parents...they clearly knew their daughter had serious issues and was lying about Johnny... Some of my favorites: -Crying without tears. -Lying about how she never committed any form of violence to any of her partners, then when confronted with audio of her admitting to violence against Johnny herself, claiming she was instead talking to the door ("I didn't punch you, I HIT you" [from the tape]). -Unwittingly admitting she wrote the op-ed because Johnny was "too powerful." -Proving the psychologist correct, specifically in her distinction of someone with her psychological profile being incapable of admitting fault. Amber Heard did not admit to doing anything wrong whatsoever--EVER. -Her trying to be both the "strong woman who has overcome adversity" and " extremely traumatized victim whose friends have to avoid triggering daily." -The Freudian slip of admitting she used a bruise kit. -Her describing the most brutal attacks (from a fist covered in rings no less!) and then thinking make-up and ice could fix them--oh wait, and it just "wasn't that bad for her" (because she is tough bad ass powerful Amber Heard!). -That she pretended to make copious notes when she was literally writing nothing.

Yep, refusing to admit ANY fault whatsoever was the classic mistake of an extreme narcissistic abuser. If Amber Heard had only apologised, showed humility and owned some of her bad behaviour, the jury may have looked on her more sympathetically. But she gave them no reason to whatsoever! Her response to Camille Vasquez' questioning about the $7m charity donations she bragged about but never in fact paid are a prime example. She was belligerent in her responses, eg: "I use the terms pledge and donate synonymously". WTF??? She'd have come across so much more human and likeable if she'd instead said something like: "I fully intended to honour my promises to both charities, and I still do - I feel absolutely terrible that I have not yet done that. I am a single woman and became responsible for a new baby. As an actress my future earnings are always uncertain, I'm nowhere near as successful as Johnny Depp. So I was frightened to give away that amount of cash at that time. Then I learned my ex husband was suing me, which made me fear total financial ruin for myself and my daughter. My aim was and remains, to pay both charity pledges in full when I'm in a financially stable position, and I'm working hard to achieve that". Doesn't that sound better than her constant refusal to admit any wrongdoing whatsoever? But that is the fatal flaw of the narcissist, they cannot apologise and cannot own their bad behaviour. The fact Heard doubled down on her abuse lies after the jury's unanimous verdict, shows exactly how arrogant and unapologetic she is. Johnny Depp owes her no mercy, and I hope he insists on getting every cent of his $9m damages from her - then donates them to the LA Children's Hospital in full as she promised but did not, and shames her!

She talks about these alleged bruises on her face but never talks about ever having to cover up defensive marks on arms, legs or body. Having been in a DV relationship, I had to wear long sleeves, even conscious of hiding wrists where is bruised after being grabbed & punched a he tried to stop me covering my face. I'd literally find new bruises every day. It is practically impossible to stop your arms & legs from coming up to protect your face & body. I've even broken fingers trying to defend myself. Yet according to her, he punched her so many times in the face she lost count, all clean shots in the exact same place, breaking her nose & blacking her eyes yet no mention of defensive marks - but I guess amica cream, ice & concealer was all I needed all that time. Nothing she says about those events indicates to me she's lived that life & I sure as heck couldn't sit in front of the person who did that to me, confidently like she did. No matter how strong I was trying to appear on the outside. I saw my abuser after 15 years & I couldn't hide the physical reaction my body had just seeing him. I thought I was literally going to pass out. No matter how strong I felt after leaving, rebuilding my life & confidence, it disappeared in a second.

my mum was beaten by my bio dad for years even while she was pregnant. I remember her locked in a bathroom as he punched through the glass cutting himself to get to her. Years later after we fled in the middle of the night my mum rebuilt her life and got married. I remember saying to her I wasn't scared of him. She was so different now I thought she would say the same but she said she would always be terrified of him. I was young and now I understand. Amber is a liar if even a fraction of her story was true she wouldn't sit there confidently and stare him down as he looks away and can't look at her. Especially if she wants its to believe she has ptsd. I bet she's never been struck by him even once. For her to lie about dv and S.A. because she can't backdowwn and admit this whole thing was a ploy for money in the very beginning. it's just grown and grown with more and more outlandish lies. it's sick.

As someone who is also an equestrian. The term “break” when referring to horse care is primitive. And boy does it really describe her character. When you break a horse you make them comply out of fear of harsher punishment. When you properly train and work with a horse you make a friend. She tried to break Johnny. That much is clear.

This is the first comment I have seen from someone who actually trains/works with horses so thank you for your input! This part of her testimony was very telling to me as well bc my grandfather trained horses. My grandparents also had a palomino colored horse named Paige who basically grew up with us kids & was treated like a member of the family. She was such an amazing horse & she & my grandfather had such a strong bond. Losing her was like losing a child to him. Now I personally have little to no knowledge on this subject but Just knowing that Amber’s father has previous criminal charges for animal abuse gives me a pretty good idea of how they “broke” horses. Another thing that stood out to me about her vocabulary around this subject is when she’s talking about “not showing fear” & “being tough” what she really means is they likely used domination, punishment or abuse to subdue & “train” horses & that just makes me really sad for any horses that came in contact with that family.

Personally I don’t think we have any idea how many men are abused. I’m a woman and have many male friends, I don’t think they would feel comfortable even telling a friend if they were abused but I absolutely know it’s possible. I have experienced abuse from a someone when physically I was a young adult and could have easily overpowered the abuser but was so terrified I just took it. Our culture needs to catch up that abuse is not an arm wrestling match. It’s not strictly about who has the physical upper hand. Here’s another way to look at it. If a stranger walks up to you on the street and randomly hits you in the face, how does that compare psychologically to someone you love and trust hitting you? I think you would have more clarity about the stranger versus someone you love and trust.

When the "believe all women" slogan was coined I just knew it was a license for bad women to abuse men and get away with it. The Depp case has exposed this. Our society has for too long brought girls up in such a way that they can take advantage of protection privilege they enjoy because they are girls. Abuse is wring in any direction but when you consider that girls can and will hit boys because boys are not allowed to hit girls, it's no surprise these girls become women who haven't learned there's a consequence for our actions. They've instead learned they can play victim, hurt men and get away with it and to such extent that men have had to suffer in silence because anti domestic violence campaigns always show women as victims and men as perpetrators. The truth is that abuse has no gender, being a victim has no gender and we have to stop believing slogans like "believe all women" and instead focus on helping victims and exposing the truth. Feminists don't want this because they want power over men. They don't believe in equality, they want to control.

I was thinking the same thing. Here she is married to a wealthy and famous star. She used to be a stripper and a madam, yet she deceived her way into a marriage with someone who gave her any material thing she needed and a chance to have a good life, yet it wasn't enough. She then taunts and manipulates her husband to the point, he divorces her. She gets millions and is starring in a blockbuster movie. She has the potential to be in many future films. Is she satisfied with her own success? No, she tries to use the court system to get more. Finally the court system sees through her lies and greed. Now she is out of control, and lost everything. She lost her temper, money, career, reputation, and dignity. The worst nightmare of any manipulator is being exposed. The irony is that it is by her own actions that she is living her nightmare. If she were self reflective then she would regret her actions, however she won't take any blame, nor does she intend to pay the system. She will likely move out of the country.

The law and public perception are all 100% on her side before she ever steps into that courtroom. She could easily have won her case if she had more competent lawyers and if she was a more competent actor herself. In the end it was a complete mess. Her acting was cringeworthy, she wouldn't answer questions directly and instead went around in circles to dodge answering tough, challenging questions and her team were a complete shambles, especially Elaine. The more the pressure ramped up as it was clear they were losing the support of the public (they clearly kept a very close eye on social media trends and comments), the more they fell apart. One thing that should have made this easy - the truth is just that. The truth. There's only one way to tell the truth. The fact that she contradicted herself so often, changed her stories all the time, smirked and made a few snarky remarks just added to everyones belief that there was no truth to be found in her claims.

She hasn't set women back in any way, only those that lie. She made it clear how toxic the blind believe in *claimed* victims is. It's a big win for justice and by extension men that have been abused, innocent till proven guilty. Not the other way around. Everyone can claim to be a victim of any crime, however few crimes are blindly believed without some standard of proof. And certain women know they would be believed without proof, which gives them all the power to abuse others with both the court of public opinion, the social sphere and in some cases the justice system. And a big part of feminist and the metoo movement elevated such views in an attempt to "protect women" but in doing so hurt so many people and where blind in realizing this. Fuck, I've had similar discussions half a decade ago already about rape. With people pointing to feminist organizations as "proof" that less than 1% where lying and thus blindly believing women is acceptable as the good outweighs the bad. But when you dig deeper in those number you'd quickly find out 90% are "unreported" which basically translates to "we made this number up/our estimate", of those that are left 3/4th never get a legal judgement (case dropped, settled, proof can't be established, etc. ) which we can't know with certainty the validity off. Which left with a proven true and false cases that went through court that 1/3rd where proven false rape allegations. Call me crazy but throwing a large amount of innocents people under the bus, fuck even a small amount, is quite frankly evil in my book.

Normally I would be against live streaming such a trial. But I think the Judge made the right decision here due to the high profile of the two parties and the fact that the press would be all over it anyway. It meant people could could see for themselves. What was so amazing was that so many people had the same instinctive gut reaction to Amber's story telling in real time. You can fool some of the people some of the time but not all of the people. Her attempts to control her face throughout the trial looked too forced & fake to be real and there were moments when she would smirk and smile at inappropriate moments. But the clincher for me was one shot where she caught herself smiling and in a micro second transformed her face into 'sad Amber face'. It was almost so quick that I wondered if my eyes had deceived me. But then others picked up on it and body movement analysts started replaying this and other episodes until it became obvious that Amber was attempting to put on a 'performance of a lifetime'. If she had been a real victim of DV she would not have needed to act; it would have been a visceral reaction. She chose her timing. She was absolutely calculating. I believe she decided very early on to get even with Mr. Depp for whatever she deemed to his slight against her. She said in one the audios that she had years of evidence against him and I think that's when he realized she was going to screw him over but good. What she didn't count on was a lot of her evidence coming back to bite her. Which is what we saw with the mental gymnastics and out right twisting of her own words. People want to believe what they want to believe. It prevents people from having to think for themselves. It's Dunning Kruger.

@@juliefisk8066 Agreed, she was absolutely calculating in her actions - hence the photos depicting JD as drunk, passed out, high as a kite yet NONE showing any genuine, severe bruising or injury to her face or other body parts. If she was SO conscious of the supposed risk of being with JD and had the apparent presence of mind to take photographs of him being intoxicated - almost certainly to present evidence to a future divorce court - how is it that she LOST that “awareness” after supposed physical attacks from JD that led to bruising and a broken nose. She is a terrible liar and an even worse actor. I had my nose broken - effectively, twice in the same rugby match - and within 24 hours I looked like a panda, with 2 very black eyes. I feel like not many talked about her getting caught in this other huge lie. She is talking about how she covered her bruises, but actually explaining the process to CREATE bruises, not cover them. She says “Obviously you put the foundation, concealer, then the color correcting on top.” To cover bruises the process would be reversed. That and then the bruise kit in the Johnny ice cream photo. And an actual bruise kit to make bruises, not the quick coverup she tried to make after realizing she slipped up. “My bruise kit, oh wait my theater makeup kit I use to cover bruises I call a bruise kit” nope you meant what you said the first time Amber, your bruise kit.

They assured her they wouldn't. Then she asked them if they'd speak to her friends from People magazine and tell them that it wasn't true that no one from the ECB saw bruises. They all refused. That person filled out a witness statement, but it was not in evidence for some reason. Yet she claims to have no ties to People magazine, even though they got exclusive photos of 'bruises'. This is exactly why I think that 'believing all women' and 'not picking apart their story' is not a productive way of thinking. If we were to just assume she is telling the truth, then she would be the heroine of this story, surrounded by the world who would of stood by her shaming Johnny Depp. No one would know the horrible things she did and the people who did know would be too afraid to say anything out of fear of appearing sympathetic to a wife beater. If they didn't pick apart her story in the court of law, she wouldn't face the consequences of her actions (like she fully thought would happen) and wouldn't be deterred from doing it again to the next schmuck who she dates/ marries. This isn't about pushing forward 'men's rights' or holding back women from calling out domestic violence. This is about getting people to think deeper about what people tell them and letting the justice system do its job properly to let justice be served.

I disagree to some extent. Now that trial is over I see all these comments how "believe all women" is bullshit, it's not working, it's harmful, etc. But it has helped a lot. We now have space where victims of abuse feel more secure, feel like they can speak out. Monsters like Harvey Weinstein have been stopped. Yes technically we shouldn't just "believe all women". That's a slogan. Not some unbreakable and unbendable rule. I think "picking apart their story" is the worst thing we should do. That's the whole point why meToo movement was started. My opinion is that we should believe all women (victims). We should help them, listen to them, get them all the resources they need; shelter, psychiatrist, police, hospital... And some of those resources should be more neutral and clinical, like the court. It should be like any other crime. If your friend tells you someone broke into their apartment and stole bunch of stuff, you don't go there to play detective; you are going to support them. And yes these issues are more muddied when publicly this "he said/she said" -thing happens and we don't know either party personally, so we just go with whoever sounds more believable. And I've been saying for years that we need talk about men's issues too! I am a huge sjw snowflake, but I don't really like all these feminist slogans like "believe all women" or "transwomen are women". I think it should be "believe all victims" and "transgendered people are valid". Long story short; I don't think one liar proves that whole meToo movement is flawed, and we should definitely give men's issues more space! I know lots of victims of IPV who are men, and it sucks that they feel like they can't talk about it, or that there isn't much resources for them. That's definitely something we should fix asap!

That led to me looking at all the evidence (the voice recordings were just coming out) and anyone who heard them immediately knew she was the one at fault. There are even more layers here. During the divorce, she tried to claim the LAWYERS were making the demands and she, the innocent female, had no control over them. I bet she's still doing that now--blaming the lawyers for this loss, rather than her own lack of evidence and obvious lying.

She was calculating to get him hooked and married. I suppose she figured he'd OD or commit suicide so she would reap the benefits from his death. She didn't think he would leave her so she got desperate and impulsive, tried to win him back, etc. Couldn't stand the idea of losing him so got greedy and made accusation with TRO. She didn't believe he would fight her and let it get this far. She was so cocky at the start of the trial, but her impulsiveness showed in her stories, answers and lies on the stand and in the audio recordings. Camille nailed it on her cross examination and closing statements. Amber WAS a pretty face and cheap actress to have on screen despite her lack of acting skills. Now we see her true ugly bullying narcissistic self. Hopefully we stop giving her any kind of attention so she'll fade into obscurity and be forgotten.

When Amber Heard accused Johnny back in 2016, I thought her story was off because it came out a few days after his mom his passed that she filed for divorce, my first thought was that it was to deflect the criticism she was getting for filing during that time since timing was poor. It wasn't until the first report about her ex wife came out a month later that her lies were well known then but this was during the "Believe All Women" phase, Trump was running for office at the time, Cosby was just outed to be an abuser, that Stanford kid was on posters and MeToo wasn't on full scale until a year later so Heard was going to be believed. Younger scarlet who is being "trapped into marriage" by her older well established husband? That is a plot of a lifetime movie or a standard Law and Order SVU episode where adding in the time period that Johnny was seen by the public to playing the same role in every movie plus the Woke phase by Studios, Johnny Depp being cancelled was sadly inevitable. The tragedy about this is if it wasn't for those tapes, Amber's hubris and Johnny Depp's insistence in the world (by extension his kids) knowing the truth by having a legal team that went to beyond the call of duty to defend him, Johnny would still be in a messed up position. Look at people like Mattress Girl who while no longer relevant, is still walking free while the poor boy she accused is still seen as a predator and even Columbia's reputation wasn't damaged by that incident. This stance on "Listen and Believe" did so much harm to both men and women that it may take years to undo where hopefully Johnny's trial can at least show the public that abuse has no gender isn't just a pushback people use to deflect the criticism of the Duluth Model. Only time will tell, but I am so glad Johnny Depp got justice at the end. With that said, congratulations on your wedding and can't wait for your future videos

Razorfist made a video on Bill Cosby. He was innocent. Same with Michael Jackson and Woody Allen (the latter of whom Scarlett Johansson publicly defended I might add). The media doesn't do their research these days. Or worse, they outright lie. A lot of men who were considered monsters were actually victims of the media lie factory and Johnny Depp's just the latest example. Unlike the others, who prevailed in the courts but are still smeared by the public, Depp managed to clear his name both in the courts and in public. However, he had to fight tooth and nail to do so. I believe that Harvey Weinstein was guilty. However, he's one of the exceptions.

And yet for some reason, neither the media nor any sort of social movement picked up on those audiotapes and used them to at least question the legitimacy of AH's claims. To me, the fact that MeToo never addressed the existence or content of these tapes, never even questioned AH's claims or demanded to see any concrete evidence, and never issued an apology for how carelessly and blindly they've uplifted a woman lying about DV and ruining someone's career in the process, is disgusting, dissapointing, and ridiculous. No matter how noble the cause, no matter the fact that I'm a woman, I cannot be part of a movement that ignores important evidence and refuses to apologize for having made mistakes. It's good to see the world finally waking up to AH's manipulation and lies, but it's a shame that it took them so fucking long, and even more shameful that some very popular movements and media refuse to see it.

Great, detailed analysis of this narcissistic, psychotic woman. So happy for Johnny, his victory is not only for him but for all of us who've been abused and were unable to bring our abuser to justice!

Well done baggage claim! I’ve watched many Depp/heard videos as well as the trial itself and this video of yours was top shelf. Great work young lady, nicely done!

possibly one of the funniest moment of this trial, was that the company that makes the make-up of the so called bruise kit, came forward (voluntary) to say that she was lying and that the model of make up kit she says she has been using was released a year later than her alleged start of use

I loved how they mispronounced "Arnica" cream as "Amica" cream over and over and over. LOL. I got some in my cabinet and had to double check I wasn't crazy.

At the very least, she should get mandatory therapy to try to help break her delusions.

I was one of those people who never believed her and was called sexist because of it. People really did believe her just because she was a woman, it fit their preconceived notions that young women are victims/powerful men are abusers. This case is a good lesson, that you should never believe someone without evidence. Accusations are just accusations.

There are so many women like her walking free because of our corrupt sexist society and justice system.

Same, and Im a woman. On top of that I was accused of not wanting my favorite actor to be an abuser. Johnny Depp was far from my favorite actor….

And this is when the accusations first came out btw! There was something really not right with how she talked about it. I remember being struck by an interview she did with GirlGaze and she just seemed to be lying and enjoying the attention as a “survivor”.

Yeah I freaking hate how everyone flip-flopped around the trial. Because it just demonstrates the stupidity of the problem. I doubted amber heard from day one, but everyone around me fucking believed her. But as soon as the tribal got going everyone suddenly knew alllll along that she was nils hitting
