I think AH DID have a split lip from taking Accutane. This came out in earlier evidence she was taking that medicine. I can tell you from experience that Accutane will give you blistered lips. Also your skin is extraordinarily sensitive to the sun and if you get even the slightest sunburn you can get blistered and bruised. I don't think she wanted to mention that she was taking medicine and that's why she was confabulating about her skin condition. I hope the other side could pick up on that, but maybe too late and not necessary.

@ceciliewien68712 жыл бұрын
I worked as a makeup artist for 15 years and: The kit she shows is a correction kit. It is used to correct discolouration on the skin and you use it as followed: first moisturiser, then correction pallet, then concealer and foundation, followed by powder, rouge, highligt etc. You do not use the correction pallet on top of the foundation. That would leave green/yellow marks on the skin. The bruise kit on the other hand, is used on top of the foundation, to create bruises. Just putting it out there...

She has done far more damage to her own case than Johnny's team. I've seen many instances where Johnny's lawyers could have brought up things but didn't, meanwhile she is on the stand and is making it obvious to the world that she's lying. Up until the point where she went on the stand, I think more people believed her, then she started with the obvious acting, that was the first sign of something not being right. If that wasn't enough, she came with these absolutely outrageous stories about abuse that completely contradicted all of the audio that was played in the court up to that point. If that wasn't enough, she made herself out to be perfect, no flaws whatsoever, again contradicting all the audio up to that point. And if even that wasn't enough, all of her "evidence" were either pictures of Johnny sleeping, or her face with "injuries" that you can't even see, or can easily fake with photoshop or makeup. Don't even get me started on the patch of "hair" that was on the ground. Where was the blood? Why is it that all that hair was ripped from your scalp, yet there is not a single speck of blood or the look of raw flesh? How is there no blood anywhere on the ground? How is the patch of hair so short, while you have very long hair? How is it that he grabbed you in the center of your head, and just happened to get a handful of the exact hair that is shorter than all the rest of your hair and not pull out a single hair follicle that is as long as the actual hair on your head? So yeah, I'd say she's destroyed her case far more than Johnny's lawyers, she's taking grown adults for fools, and anyone who believes anything that woman says at this point needs to have a dunce cap sewn onto their head.

I will say a color correction kit doesn't have the colors you'd need to create bruises. This is from someone who HAS made fake bruises, for costume/special effects makeup. And as someone who has dark circles and red splotches that I use color correction for, I've never personally seen one that comes with a purple tint. I also don't really know when a purple would be helpful. You use green for redness, or sometimes blue depending on the skin tone and severity of the bruise. Pink is good for covering up things like dark circles, the blue tones on your skin. It's to try and balance out the color, so when you put the rest of the makeup on the color is canceled out and covers cleanly with the foundation. The biggest tell was when she tried to say she would use it OVER her foundation and concealer. That's the exact opposite of what you do. General toners, mosturizures, and then PRIMER (If she has sensitive skin or has makeup she wants to have hold a long time, like covering a bruise all day in hot LA weather, she should know primer is first) (also I personally use a green tinted primer to help cool my skin tone), and then THAT'S when you use the color correction. Otherwise you're just smearing blue and green on top of your foundation. I use pink under my eyes, green on acne scars/flare ups, and any redness, and then blue over it if it's extra stubborn. I then use my concealer right on top of those areas and anywhere else I'd use it, which helps it not mix with foundation and look funky. Then, foundation, buffed out with a beauty blender so it doesn't mess up color correction. Then a concealer that's a shade lighter than mine, on my cheekbones, nose bridge, general t zone, basically where I'll do more highlighter. Then, setting powder, really getting it in there and letting it sit before dusting off excess. And then the rest of my blush/contour/highlight in powders (and brows/eyes/lips), and then setting spray to make sure nothing moves. (and then extra sparkly highlighter if i'm feeling extra, tip; get the brush a little damp with spraying setting spray on it before using it in product, and apply it right after setting spray goes on your face, while it's still wet, it'll make it pop) The fact that she got the basic order wrong tells me she's never done it before, only maybe looked it up so she could say what order to do it in, but got it mixed up because she's never done it. She does own and use an actual bruise kit though, I'd put money on.

@@MariaThePotterNut Huh, I don't wear makeup so I genuinely thought she was right when she said she put the foundation on first (I mean it's right in the name, you'd think it's what everything else get built on) but your explanation why that isn't the case makes much more sense.
@MariaThePotterNut2 жыл бұрын
@@KyleCorbeau I'm glad I could help explain, and yeah in the current makeup product/knowledge/idk world it's a bit misleading. Back in the day, it truly was the base layer, now you can think of it as the final thing that makes the foundation the artsy stuff goes on top of. I'll list it out better, what does what and the order, and something I personally use if you ever wanna experiment and see for yourself how it works (I'm a broke ho so quality at a drugstore/target price is what I go for). Not that you need all of this to test it out, just what I use -primer; primes your face, makes a smoother surface to lay makeup on, fills pores and/or lines, helps protect you face especially if you wear heavier makeup often, and helps it last longer. You smooth it into the skin, almost like a lotion, shouldn't be visible unless tinted (like the one I use for redness). I use the ELF ones, either the hydrating or the tinted one. www.elfcosmetics.com/tone-adjusting-face-primer---small/83402.html?elf_source=PrimerStory&elf_medium=contentblock&elf_campaign=primer -color corrector; like mentioned, you use certain colors to counter discoloration on your face. This is the one I use, idk why it's not on elfs website anymore, but it's a cream, you only need a small dot of it, which you blend out just over the problem spots, sorta pat it in. you can build it up if you have worse to fix. www.walmart.com/ip/e-l-f-Corrective-Concealer-Erase-Conceal/675528536 - concealer; similar to foundation, but slightly different formula, usually thicker, almost always in a smaller tube like this. you dot it on problem blemishes to add extra coverage, and blend it out slightly farther than the blemishes. Beauty blender to pat it out is helpful, blend with a brush too much and the color correction will smear around. You want the same or as similar as possible shade of concealer for this level than foundation so it blends better. I'm pale af, like freshly fallen snow, so I love Nyx's concealer and foundations, because they have a HUGE shade range, including undertones for the pale range, and they go light enough for me, some brands the lightest shade is still too dark. www.nyxcosmetics.com/cant-stop-wont-stop-contour-concealer/NYX_728.html?dwvar_NYX__728_color=Fair -foundation; the "base" of your makeup (other than primer) if you have perfect skin. It's the final (ish) layer of the liquids/creams, and basically what people see when they're seeing your skin. Helps keep you from looking oily. Again, love Nyx, it really does last a LONG time (like sweating my ass off in a leather jacket in 112 degree heat at San Diego Comic Con), and there's TWO shade paler than me! www.nyxcosmetics.com/cant-stop-wont-stop-full-coverage-foundation/NYX_636.html?dwvar_NYX__636_color=CSWSF1.5%20-%20Fair -You can also use a liquid or cream highlight or contour at this stage, especially if you're doing face shaping stuff, it'll look more natural. I only use powder contours, again that pale thing means blending is necessary. Though I will use a shade lighter of the same concealer on the bridge of my nose and cheekbones to highlight. -setting powder; helps set your wet makeup, keeps it from smudging or running, keeps you from looking oily or greasy, helps keep foundation from cracking. I typically like pressed powders better, feel like there's better control, but loose powder works too. Translucent/white is always the best choice. use a powder brush to pack it in heavily, let sit a while if you have time, and then brush excess off (especially needed for loose powder, pressed powder you can do a lighter layer right off). www.nyxcosmetics.com/face/powder/high-definition-finishing-powder-mini/NYX_507.html Do the other makeup and then -setting spray; the last thing you use, over all you powders, to lock and hold everything, keep it from smearing or cracking, help give you a matte (not shiny) or dewy (shiney, like fresh clean skin but can also look oily depending on you skin type) look. If I could always afford it, Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray is IT, but also I typically I use either the Nyx one (works great still, and 10 bucks vs 25) or the ELF one (works well still). www.nyxcosmetics.com/makeup-setting-spray-matte/NYX_094.html Various other products I use- Mascara- maybelline, either lash stiletto or full blast, depends on whats going on, I like the applicators for both, always "blackest black" (like my soul) and waterproof, though the normal pink tube works too Eyeliner- I love a dramatic wing and I'm shit and liquid liner and don't love the basic pencil like ones, so the kind that work like almost markers work well for me. I think the one thing that speaks to the genius of Johnny Depp's legal team is that they chose Camille to grill Amber. That completely eliminated any chance of Amber pulling the "I'm a woman, you would'nt understand what it's like to be weak and victimized." Camille is not only eloquent, blunt and focused, but she's a petite, Hispanic woman with a small feminine voice. That's not to say that Camille has ever been a victim, but based *solely on perception* you couldn't confidently say that there's no way Camille would understand or be able to relate to a victim. So that "Woman=Instant Pity=Obvious Victim=You're just a big bad attorney man bullying me- Trump card is out of Amber's deck. Just my opinion.

@Norman Graham I most definitely agree. It is hard enough to get justice as it is. People don't tend to go through life thinking about what documentation or proof (photographic, written. Verbal, etc) they might need years later to demonstrate within the framework of reasonable doubt that they are innocent or that someone else, especially someone we love and care (about in spite of their faults or one's own) is guilty of some crime or pattern of crimes. A person might endure years of the more 'mild' forms of abuses before something triggers escalating incidences. Equally, when slowly boiled (like the proverbial frog) people tend to match those behaviors in an escalating manor or response. So even a mild mannered person might start off walking away then get fed up and start yelling back, etc. Their behaviors are likely less extreme but still will have changed over time to be more aggressively responsive as they try and discard different methods of trying to cope/deal with their abuser's behaviors and actions.

When Amber got defensive about the victim statement, she got really aggressive and angry in her tone. I felt like that indicated or suggested that she views "victims" as weak and pathetic. Correct me if I'm wrong, but her aggression to " I have never, NEVER wanted to be seen as a victim" felt more like the abuser than the victim. She didn't have any sadness or what I would call strength in that statement--more like aggression, hatred, and violent anger...not sad anger, like "I can't believe this happened to me, but I won't let it define me" but more like, "I am not that pathetic and weak and how DARE YOU suggest it." You can see in her body language a lot , it’s the Opposite of what she’s saying eg when she says “he pulled my hair “ she doesn’t motion and grab her hair to be pulled but does a pulling movement ( that would be the point of view of the aggressor?!) say you were telling someone you got run over by a car you would motion how maybe you put your arms out to protect your self as the car hit you ( as you we re-telling and remembering the incident,) you wouldn’t imitate what the driver was doing with his hands on the wheel would you? Also she’s slipped up on he words , just the over the top fake acting with no tears etc and the laughing and sly smiling, smugness and just everything all together, she’s not scared of him at all! She is one of those people that are so sly , cruel , calculating, malicious , nasty, ( and I could again go on of course) people that uses peoples weaknesses also ( his mother abused him) to mentally and physically/ emotionally abuse. It’s awful as this is no joke and offensive to true victims ( and her own victim, Mr depp, it’s disgusting and deeply disturbing!) This makes absolutely NO sense for someone who is trying to hide discolouration..

@@GrifoStelle yes, these colours can be used, colours cover up the opposite on the colour wheel by 'neutralizing them' and toning down their prominence. Green covers redness, pink and yellow covers dark circles and purple tones on lighter or all skin tones and the darker peach is used on med-darker skintones to cover purple or dark circles under eyes. So yes, you can use these colours. You can also layer them to neutralize colours one by one. Ie. The Green and orange to neutralize a bruise, set it and then use foundation and concealer over top :) You would not, however use your foundation and concealer first and then use these, they are designed to neutralize coloring BEFORE you 'recolour" the skin with foundation.

As a MAU, I wanna point out that when you want to COVER a bruise, you do not put your foundation first. You put the color correction first & THEN you cover the color correction with foundation/powder. When you want to CREATE a bruise, that’s when you put your foundation first because you want the baseline of the skin to be under the color. Some people might do it different, idk, but it just seems kinda sketchy to me that she described the process of creating a bruise rather than covering one.

Maybe I'm wrong, maybe they call movie makeup "theatrical" too? As a former professional MUA .. You are correct .. Put your color corrector first to neutralize what you are trying to conceal .. Every artist knows (painter .. hair colour .. Make up) take primary colours .. Red Blue Yellow and use the opposite secondary colour Green Orange. Purple .. To create a neutral .. Then foundation to create an even base .. For someone who "never" leaves the house without make up .. It would be a dailey routine and anyone with a dailey routine can recall it .. Its like muscle memory. .. Unless its not your dailey routine but opposite in which you would even the base with foundation ... THEN .. Apply colours for what you wanted people to see

Though I did see this sort of thing over and over for years with other people before I finally left him. Over time there was a pattern of him getting accused of harassment of women across multiple contexts, jobs, etc and his response was always to play victim and suggest that everyone around him was out to get him and lying about him because they wanted to sabotage him. This plays out a bit differently with a man who is narcissistic, but the patterns of behavior and fake emotional displays are quite similar. They lie about everything even when it's not necessary. I havent seen people talk about this enough, but early in the trial it was mentioned that she was on Accutane, and that is a heavy drug commonly used for Acne. I am taking it now. Accutane has many side effects. It makes you very photosensitive and if I go out in the sun without sunblock, I will look like I got slapped in the face. It also makes you extremely dry and it has even given me split bloody lips, bloody noses, etc. And makes you extremely susceptible to bruising. A simple smack into a door or corner that would normally not be a big deal, can give you an exaggerated bruise. My husband thought someone had hurt me the other day by the looks of my latest bruise. It is metabolized through the liver and can be pretty hard on the organs, so there are monthly blood tests and a requirement of being abstinent or on birth control since it WILL cause birth defects in a fetus. Moreover, you MUST not drink alcohol on this medication -- which I doubt (based on facts about her heavy drinking habits) that she followed the instructions of being sober for 6+ months (which is an average time frame for the drug course). Now, some speculation. If she has another skin condition that causes sun sensitivity, then her face and body getting red and blotchy will not be unheard of. The pictures she took of her purported injuries could have easily been just a side effect of her unnamed condition or of being on Accutane.

She took it too far and did everything possible to destroy this man thinking that he will never ever bring this to court and ask for it to be televised. The tragedy of this whole thing is is that it's set back women's rights and it makes it harder for real victims to come forward. I guess the only positive is that is makes it easier for male victims of domestic abuse to stand up. My ex did something similar with me and told slanderous lies about me to everyone we knew to gain sympathy even though it was her that cheated on me and took everything I owned! She even tried to convince my own parents (who I'm very close to) that I was abusive! She also can't retreat from her lie because it would ruin her reputation.
@KidStarverHALVEDhisVote2 жыл бұрын
it's common for any person who has been maltreated and has said "enough, I'm walking away" to regard themselves as strong and NOT a victim. writing about her experience as a 'survivor' of domestic abuse is also from a place of strength, reaching out to anyone identifying with her but not yet through it or over it or away from it. acknowledging you were abused is not synonymous with victimhood.
@bolee33392 жыл бұрын
@@KidStarverHALVEDhisVote actually most people don't talk about the abuse they have received because it's a trigger. Most people who bring up their abuse without being prompted or triggered have alternative motivates for doing so. They're trying to gain something by using a sad story. Admitting to being a victim gives you more power than denying it and most victims can point out all the red flags because those flags trigger bad memories, it's not something they read, head second hand, seen on TV, watched on KZbin. They lived it, breathe it, seen it, had to hear it day in and day out every day. So when people like amber tries to lie or tell tall tales we see right through that, we can almost write you the script of what their going to say, how they act, how great they are at misdirection, always the victim but never the victim, never in charge but always in charge, how in is out and out is up and up is wet and by the time they are done you believe it because you live in a gaslight world at that time. That’s why I was so impressed by Dr Curry’s testimony… she listed symptoms and behaviours that she attributed to Amber Heard. Then the evidence matched up to Dr Curry’s review. Ambers witness however was definitely biased against men. She was asked several times and just wouldn’t admit that a man can be a victim of DV if he wasn’t gay. And a women could only be the perpetrator if she was gay. She’s never helped a man who was a victim of a women. Shows bias. I hope the jury saw it. Amber Heard is a classic malignant narcissist. Before this video, I didn’t know what a “bruise kit” was in the industry. However it is vey telling because she said the “obvious” order of using makeup to cover up bruises is: foundation, concealer, and bruise kit (she really should have called it a color correction wheel or palette). AND if we’re talking about a color correction palette to cover pigmentation, dark circles, or in this case alleged bruises, you wouldn’t use it as the last step AFTER foundation and concealer. The result would be crazy looking with pinks, greens and oranges all over your face… so I truly believe she slipped up, called it a bruise kit and described how a bruise kit is actually used to create bruises for film/theater.
@jezzukahm2842 жыл бұрын
Yes! Her testimony on the explanation confused me and I thought the same why would you put the color correction on top of everything?! It didn't make sense. My mother accompanies women who are victims of domestic violence (more rarely men): she answers the phone and is often one of the first people to know what the person has been through. Then, she does face-to-face interviews, and the person tells her what she has experienced, my mother has to ask sometimes difficult questions to put everything in context. She was faced with people who were victims of physical violence, psychological violence, sexual violence, but also people who were in a relationship of symmetrical domestic violence (each violent towards the other). She accompanied people to court, and so on. She has never seen a victim of domestic violence act like Amber Heard. Never. Not only in the words chosen (“it was scary” instead of “I was scared”) but also in the evidence it provides. I quote my mother "A person who is the victim of domestic violence either has no evidence because they have not been able to take any for various reasons. Often, if the person has been able to gather evidence, there is is a lot, and the evolution over time is: not much evidence at the beginning, a lot at the end. The evidences that Amber Heard brings are weird because they seem random, always unclear. The evidences that my clients bring are always as demonstrative and complete as possible."

As someone who was a victim of domestic abuse from my ex-husband, I can tell you that you do not "obviously" put foundation on first. I always used color corrector first, then concealer, then foundation, and then more concealer. You don't ever put the color corrector on after foundation because the colors are still prevalent, they are meant to cancel out those colors (I used to use a red lipstick when it was really bad and then LA Girl's green and peach color correctors), they don't magically blend into your skin and look natural. Once the colors are cancelled out it's easier to hide the bruises with concealer and foundation, that's the purpose of color corrector. Now, as someone who has also worked in theaters, I know that they always put down concealer and then foundation before layering on a bruise kit because it makes it easier to blend and look realistic.

I love how she actually describes how to put a bruise on your face using a "bruise kit".. If you were attempting to hide a bruise you wouldn't do your foundation, concealer and then the colour corrector because you would end up with green, yellow or pink on your face. A colour correction kit is used underneath your foundation, to correct your skin tone so that it doesn't show through your finished makeup. Surely anyone can see through this testimony at the very least. I'm not a makeup expert.. sure I wear makeup most days but I'm not an expert, but it doesn't take an expert to see whether someone is describing whether they are covering a bruise or making one with makeup. That much is obvious.

It isn’t that I lack compassion for her but she’s a danger to others, so there’s that too. Yes she’s sad, and maybe she’s not beyond being helped to be a good person, or maybe not, but others in this world, other innocent, otherwise well meaning and nice, normal people, we need protection from someone as vicious and dishonest, malicious, desperate, criminal, entitled, delusional and destructive as she...who would tell any lie, and betray and harm any others without losing any sleep - just so she could benefit. I'm so happy that you mentioned Ms Vasquez's reaction/technique. It's something that I noticed, too. When she faces Amber and Amber says something obviously false, she ALWAYS just quietly says "okey", always on the same tone, and moves on to the next question without dissecting it further. She creates a pattern, literally conditions the jury and the audience to pair her staple "okkkkey" with BS, and we hear that okkey more and more towards the end of each time she faces Amber on the stand, to build up to this overwhelming feeling that everything is BS. She's BRILLIANT. I don't envy Camille's children trying to lie their way out of mischief.

When she explained her make up kit she mentioned the specific color purple. Purple is actually part of a bruise kit. Purple would never be used to cover a bruise. It is only used to create the look of bruising. Hope the legal team points this out. Also in the photo of JD with ice cream on his lap there is an actual bruise kit in the foreground. Please take a look. You will see the yellow and purple as needed for a bruise kit. Very good evidence.

Eeeehhhh... if it's a light purple, it could check out. Purple is on the opposite side of red on the color wheel. When my red hair started to fade, my hair stylist went with a purple toner to essentially correct it. The effect was no more red AND no actual purple tint. It evened it out.

I also noticed how she specifically stated purple and had the same thought....she is a very good liar...a pathological liar and that is a world all in itself. Ie: looking a blue table, saying it is a black table and when you point out CLEARLY, it is blue...here goes...well it was black before someone put blue on it and the black stands out to me, you must not be looking at the same angle I am for the light to hit it so you can see the black table. Its black. Pathological liars will twist everything so they never look wrong.

The difference between Johnny and Amber is that Amber always looked at the jury as if an attempt to manipulate their feelings while Johnny always looked at the Judge in a respectful manner.
@harmlessrn59312 жыл бұрын
I found it so interesting that she said, "I didn't want to keep proving this." Manipulation. He has far more evidence against her. Amber, you can't just tell the jury your case has been proven. You have to actually prove it.

@NathanaelD2 жыл бұрын
But the fact she she had not ever proved it was the manipulation and the most distressing part of it. Once she made the first allegations, she should have been asked to prove such a thing. Innocence should come before guilt. She thought that since she didn't name Johnny directly and ghost publishing the op-ed, she would never have to prove it. Especially with the "believe all women" movement. I'm glad she is being proven wrong and called out on her manipulation of Johnny, the media and the court system.

@@NathanaelD I agree with you, though I do believe you should take the word of the actual or supposed victim so far as to separate them from the accused until the facts are learned. You know what I just realized is a huge piece missing from her story? The apologies. I’ve been in a DV relationship before, for over 10 years and there are really only two reasons I can think of why people stay as long as they do. They are either 1. Love bombed and bombarded with very persuasive apologies and promises to do better with a brief “honeymoon” period after abuse occurs, or 2. They are literally so terrified of their abuser to the point of fearing for theirs and their kids’ lives (if any) that they CAN’T leave and are trapped. But she is clearly not scared of Johnny whatsoever, we all heard the way she spoke to him and how she shows zero sign of fear of ANYONE, let alone Johnny- it’s him that is clearly negatively impacted by her presence and he refuses to look at her. So if that’s the case, every DV victim KNOWS that their abuser’s apologies afterwards are just as big a part of the picture as the abuse and the violent episodes are, otherwise what reason is there to stay and remain loyal to someone if it isn’t through the naïveté of hoping they’re gonna change _this_ time, or through sheer fear of being beaten or killed. Also, there’s always a period of shock and denial after the first incidence of physical abuse. And hiding it from everyone you know. But at some point it becomes harder and harder to hide from loved ones and they realize you’re being abused, and then comes the anger from that loved one towards the abuser, the confrontation, or at least dropping hints that they know, to the abuser and then loved ones trying to get you to leave because they fear for your life! You’re telling me that ALL her friends and family at some point learned he was abusive, and those same friends who’d accepted a free, unlimited stay at his penthouses and multiple vacations on private jets, multiple gifts and who knows what else, were just fine continuing to take these things from him after learning he had supposedly done ALL these *HORRIFIC* things to their friend/sister?! I’m not even going to get into how abusers eventually isolate you from all your loved ones in the first place to prevent those kinds of things happening and risk being found out or their victims leaving them. She “obviously” knows so little about what it’s like to be a victim of abuse, it’s absurd and offensive. And that’s even besides the fact that several things she alleges happened are physically impossible🙄.

Agree 100%. I to am a victim of DV of 6 years many many years ago . AH was the aggressor in the relationship. Her erratic behavior coming at JD time and time again trying to force a conversation on her terms, about her needs, and then she gets angry and hysterical and hits him or pushes him. On the stand she describes herself ass some kind of savior who is only trying to help JD get well. She is following the steeps Psychologists and therapists gave her. Um No. Any therapist would tell you that you can not save an addict from their addiction. They have to decide they want to stop. Second no psychologists would suggest that you should talk to the drug. You never speak to the person who is wasted on drugs or alcohol. It is a complete waste of time. Third a person who is a victim of DV does not push their abuser in any way, verbally, or physically , they would be to afraid of more violence against them. She had zero fear. She went after JD time and time again pushing him to the edge and then freaking out when he snapped. That is a gaslighter and abuser. She is my ex husband in every way. It freaked me out listening to her.
