Yep, Raishon (the green dragon) was the magical one that detected Keyleth. And when did she get there? Rember in episode 1, how there was a girl with big GREEN eyes that came through the portal with them? And then in episode 5, the Fire tribe said that someone was impersonating one of their own? And then Raishon changed from the appearance of Keeper Yennen at the end... See what's going on? Thanks for covering these and I promise I'll check out some other videos before season 3.

The way Mercer (the DM of the game) handled the matron was great Vaxs player was dealing with his own health issues and that of family members in real life. So instead of making the matron an evil or uncaring god she was the balance between life and death, sworn enemy of immortal undead, and a positive force. That is a prime example of your freind taking your real life issues into consideration while running the game.

Raishan is the poison/gas dragon that recognized Keyleth from the s1 lair. I really hope their Mighty Nein animated series comes out before s3 of this, but I'd take either. These seasons came out in early 2021/22 so here's to hoping we get the next bit in a few months. :)

Time to watch Exandria Unlimited: C A L A M I T Y About Keyleth and Vax using their wings to go on Sky dates, let’s just say various cast members have, on round tables and such, talked about how their characters would use their powers in a “romantic setting”

@@byrdmanteddieit’s a four part miniseries of live play; all episodes are on Critical Role’s channel for free. Total is about 20 hours so it’s very do-able. For background: it is a prequel to Vox Machina, set in the same world, and tells the tale of the events leading up to the Calamity, an apocalyptic event seen in flashes during season2 of the animation. It is a great watch for those reacting to the show because Calamity does not have spoilers - it is set 1,000 years before Vox Machina. It the events have serious consequences for our favorite group. The dungeon master is Brennan Lee Mulligan, the cast includes VM voice actors Marisha Ray (Keyleth), Travis Willingham (Grog), and Sam Riegel (Scanlan), as well as three guests, Aabria Iyengar, Luis Carazo, and Lou Wilson. CR put alot of effort into the production and it will be very apparent. Dip your toes into the water before committing, check out a video called “Exandria - An Intimate History”. This is a 10 minute, short lore drop that is Matt Mercer (The main DM for the group) narrating a history lesson for Exandria, the world where all of this takes place. It will not spoil the show. If you enjoy the vibe, then definitely watch (And react!) to the Calamity miniseries. I think folks with zero DND knowledge will enjoy the series because it is just plain good storytelling and good performance by all involved,

Lol, the shirts :D YAY you're caught up! But also BOO you're caught up! You join the impatient wait with the rest of us :) If you want to watch something else while you're waiting, set in the same world (Exandria), but hundreds of years in the past, then I would strongly recommend checking out some of the best live-action TTRPG you will find anywhere, "Exandria Unlimited: Calamity". The episodes are long, so it's probably not a thing you can react to (though it would be amazing if you did! I've seen a handful others break it into several reaction videos per episode, which seems to work well) but WELL worth watching even on your own time. It's like the best improv theatre, combined with the best play you've ever seen, with the added element of dice rolls, and a table full of ridiculous chucklefucks (fond) who lean towards chaos at every opportunity. The story and the characters just hang out in my brain now, rent free. Everyone at the table gives their ENTIRE hearts to the characters, not a single thing left behind. There's another short (9 minutes-ish?) video from CR that was released before Calamity ("An Intimate History Of Exandria") that is not "required" viewing before Calamity, but it does help locate the story on the timeline of Exandria, and make things make more sense during Calamity, it has no spoilers for anything that comes later, animated or otherwise. Final thing then I'll stop rambling, if you do check Calamity out, I would recommend watching it not listening to it, because one of the most fun things is seeing everyone's faces at the table as the story unfolds :D YES! Dungeons and Dragons movie! Looking forward to that! Have loved your reactions to the series, glad you've joined the Critters :)
