Returning player and I was VERY sceptical. One hour in, I am having a blast. Graphics/Atmosphere are top, new player intro/tutorial is excellent, combat feels good, and there even seems to be a story. I am eager to play more. Honestly it feels very good. And the new "mindset" because of the change of marketing approach feels natural and logical. I'm looking forward for more. Playing on PC but I think this could be a hit on console. You were right to keep hanging on to this game, well done!

Im so happy that I'm the type of gamer that cares more about the journey than how fast I level or getting to end game as fast as possible. It makes games so much more fun and stretches out how much value you get for your money. It's also less stressful.

09:42 I would NOT recommend holding onto ANY junk gear, even if you think like beggans “I’m going to put this on when I want to loot for better life staffs” just go buy a junk life staff from the trade post for 20 gold if you ever want to do that. Dont waste valuable storage space with junk/ low gear score items!!!

I came from ESO after playing ESO for about 9 years. It finally got stale. Decided to try something new and I'm really liking the animations and the graphics here. Definitely feel like I'm not back in 2014 anymore. A few things I've noticed about this game is that there is still so much they should add. First of all, you can't even share quest which is lame. Also the taverns there's nothing to do with the taverns not even an innkeeper to shop with. There should be cool stuff you could do with the taverns so more people will hang out there and it brings more realism. But the fact that there is much much more to add on this game makes me feel excited for its future, granted they keep updating. Also I noticed ALOT they borrow from ESO... They kept most of the good and got rid of most of the bath the combat's way better.

Bags of Juniper Berries are collected from mob drops in Jan, Feb, March. Ritual Pouches are collected from Corruption Breaches in April, May, June. Hidden Stashes are collected from gatherable resource nodes in July, Aug, Sept. Concealed Vaults are collected from chests in Oct, Nov, Dec.

as a returning player. i admitted, this is one of the contents that i watched and very useful n informative, i dont even realized i watched it without skipping much even after half of the video, especially information about loot bias, and extra storage, i do dropped my resources yesterday cause of encumbered, back then there isnt gear score at all and the only one to get to know my average gear score is by looting items from enemies if i remember correctly haha. especially what to do in endgame which is i have no clue a week ago about what to do till i watched your demonstration at the end of this video, im currently 60 in my old server back then, do not know how to get 65 until someone tell me its required dlc to get 65.

22:10 my favorite way to gain gold is daily expeditions and daily mutated expeditions. They give so much gold. You can do 3 daily expeditions which give 250 gold each and 2 mutated expeditions which gives 750 gold each if I remember correctly. So you can get exactly 2250 gold only by doing daily expeditions with queue system which is nice because you can still do other thing in the open world while waiting the queue. Side quests also give a decent amount of gold.

The one thing i wish knew before i played this is not playing it during the 2021 release. But overall, the rework seems to work fine right now, release was smooth, hardly seen any bugs, lots of players on maps, easy to find people to play with, gonna play it again for a week and see where it goes.

Great tips. I'm over 2000 hours on NW and I didn't know about some of that stuff! As far as buy orders go, it's funny that you're going looking for Current Buy Orders when they are listed right below the higher Current Sell Orders. Go your your video at 30:27. 🙂

I learned when buying a house, the only house worth it, are the most expensive tier 3's. When considering you can only have 1 chest in tier 1, and 4 in tier 3. Its a no brainer to wait. 9k on a tier 1 house is a waste when you're going to Need to upgrade it at some point. And it doesn't take long to get 10k extra gold.

I did as suggested herein, and leveled my faction principally for the gear upgrades while leveling. I discovered a little late in the game how much easier and cheaper it was just to buy gear from the AH. Am I missing something? Why are folks still singing the praises of faction gear that costs you more gold and more time than the AH does?

I just wanted to get clarification on the 5% chance of getting the 725 gear score item from the "Gold Cursed Epic Crate" because the bow you got on your other account in the video was named "Apex Goldcursed Bow" and there is a legendary crate called ""Apex" Goldcursed Ranged Weapon Crate" that has a guarantee of dropping a ranged weapon at 725. Not trying to come off rude by asking, I just dont want to keep dumping Doubloon's into those epic chests if not needed. General speaking: con. on armor - also on max level. Way easier to change weapons / build that way.

if you have maximum reputation in your faction vendor shop you can buy 5gypsum orb each day (35.000tokens and 0 gold, 3daily pvp missions for e.g. reekwater = 3x18.000tokens gifted) so those orbs you can use for the 250lvl crafting items or the 1weekly cache at the gypsum kiln (1500gold)

I think of the trading post like a vending machine The "Sell Order" vending machine has items, and "Buy Order" vending machine has gold if you want stuff out of the "Sell Order" vending machine you give it gold if you want gold out of the "Buy Order" vending machine you give it items The owner of the vending machine is responsible for for filling it.

New NW:Aeternum player here. Does this "gear bias system" works with crafted gear? Does this mean I can wear a level 1 crafted armor and weapon and the system will recognize me wearing them? Or it works only with some sort of specific level/quality gear?

lvl 50 in trade skills is pretty low. I would suggest you reset and pick a fresh start server to play in all of the events.
