At the point where you can first join a faction, around L17 to 20, the gear you can buy is a huge upgrade to anything you may have looted. Do it asap.

I was covenant the last two years on kronos and then nysa as a ranger but now going to be syndicate as a mage on Draco. Really enjoying the new Aternum update! Probaby will do a flail set up at some point too.

This relaunch didn't address a single issue the original game had. They just added a new word to the title and sold the same pile of garbage to new players. It's actually pathetic. I wanted to love this game, but this thing has at most 6 months before it's completely dead.

I'd say Faction or Crafting up to level 50, from 51 to 60 it's open-world named-item drops, and from 61+ it's Elysian Wilds questline gear into Mutated Dungeons/PVP Rewards Track/Chests/Crafting, then finally Raids (Sandworm, Hive) and the Cursed Mists (the new PVP Zone).

In the old days (2 years ago), it was always Cov being the lowest pop faction, but had the best sweaty pvp players. Marauder was the biggest zergling faction where they just come out of everywhere, you attack 1 and 10 shows up. And the Syndicate had pretty strong guilds but were always the more emo faction, lots of drama. Is that still the case today?

I always choose middle ground tbh on my server we had more covenant and less syndicate. I chose middle cuz I want to fight the populated faction, but didn't join syndicate cuz I wanted people to actually be there to help.

I showed up on Prydwen at lvl 7 and was getting invites to a few different companies. It sounds like I should refuse until I've picked a faction so I only get invites from companies in my chosen faction. Also, I don't know how difficult the mobs or mini-bosses are but I almost died to the mini-boss in the mine. I think I'm still not used to the skills yet on my soldier and I still had the small health potions on me. Maybe I'm exaggerating on almost dying a bit but my health got very low and I had trouble taking the 1 potion I used. I think my gs was around 110 and I was lvl 10.

​@@yougottrolled5799Because they all offer a bunch of benefits over not being in a faction. If you really don't have any style preference between them, get a feel for how the members of each are on your world. Factions can have different "culture", especially over time.

30 seconds. Stores are nearly identical, check the map, compete against the dominating faction if youre into pvp, if solo check the fort ownership

It says when you accept the faction and get the warning that you get "One" change in the bio screen before the 30day lock thing happens. But I have not done this so not sure if its a error on Amazon's wording or not.

On USWest PS5 only server, my clan is the only Covenant guild, we went against 5 marauder clans and beat them 94% to 6% in an influence race. Just saying. Purge the heretics. Glory to the Covenant. Conventus FTW.

Does anyone know why the prices in the faction shops have such a steep price increase from the level 60 items to the level 62/65 items? a lvl 60 longsword costs 20k tokens and 600 gold a lvl 62 longsword costs 25k tokens and 7500 gold, 10k gold for lvl 65. up to 60 these are a nice option to get items for your level but after that its just ridiculous expensive. You'll get much cheaper items from the trading place. It just seems weird. I don't remember getting a crazy amount of gold with the Angry Earth expansion..

I didn’t see in the video but does it matter what class you are like should occultist join syndicate since they are the “mages” so to speak. Marauders are warriors so soldiers and melee players join them, and so on…or does it not matter cuz I want to be Occultist first but want to join Marauders I think

For the new players and i doubt there is gonna be many , it doesnt matter ... At the end one faction is gonna control the map and your faction is not . If you care about skins you can join each faction farm the gear and leave again . Factions dont matter its just a way to break the game in groups so it benefits pvp . At the end its an pvp game and the strongest and best faction is the one with the best guilds period .
