Just have to share this with you. Not a lot of detail here, but circumstances have caused my son, and his little family to temporally have to live with us. I currently live in Minnesota, and I have two precious grandchildren now living with my husband & me at this time. My grandson is 20 months and my granddaughter is 4 months. And for the last week I have been watching her when her mom is busy doing other things. I put on crochet tutorials & from the first one of yours that I had turned on, it grabbed my granddaughter’s attention. Since then I have done it several more times, and she does not even need to see your face, she just hears your voice, and she starts talking to you and laughing and giggling. Lindehobby is my go-to yarn store, especially when it comes to Drops, Järbo and sometimes Malabrigo🤩🧶 I live in Sweden and this online store is really popular here. Worth mentioning that Lindehobbys customer service is impecable👌 I love your pronunciations 😍 Järbo is a really nice, quality yarn (I'm biased though 😂), in english it's pronounced "yeah-r-boo" 👍 Great video by the way 😊

Lindehobby is my favourite yarn store. Lovely choice of good quality yarns and the Drops is so cheap! My favourite is Air, I love the fluffyness so much I made sweaters for all the family last year and I already have the wool for another 3 lined up :) Shipping is cheap and fast and they have a really great customer service. Jarbo is a good quality yarn, and over here in Europe, Scheepjes is one of the absolute most popular brands, but I find it a little expensive. You mentioned Onion yarn, very environmentally conscious, they even have yarn made of nettle fibres, and a silk mohair that seems like a thread of super soft fluffy silver. You are going to have so much fun 😂

A friend had on gloves hand knit in New Zealand. The yarn was possum and merino and was so soft. She said possum yarn is a thing in New Zealand.😊

Possum yarn is divine. Possums are a real pest in New Zealand. They eat our native trees like nothing else so it's fantastic that they have a use for us yarn nuts. Not cheap, but oh so worth it.

Hi Crystal. It does get cold 🥶 here in North Florida. We've had temp's in the mid 20s to low 30s the past two nights. I've seen our early morning temp's in the teens a few years ago. We've even had snow ❄️ Christmas 1989. I'm thankful that we don't have any severe weather like the northern states.

Once you use real quality natural fiber, it's hard to ever put acrylic next to your skin again. Rowan has an alpaca/merino dk chained yarn similar to Drops Sky that I've used. So lightweight, fluffy! Can't wait to check out this company. Thanks, Crystal! Muah!

Yay for Red Heart Super Saver. I don't have a place to lay something flat or hang dry. If I can't throw it in the dryer I don't buy it. Super Saver comes out of the dryer softer that it went in any way.

I think the color you were trying to think of (and you almost said it) was chartreuse. Pronounced shar-truce. I have the problem of not being able to think of words all the time. And it bugs me until I do. I prefer all natural fibers. Love wool but like all the naturals. Not sure why, there’s just something about it that I love. Enjoyed all the yarn and yarny talk.

Oh my goodness, I bought Onion yarn a while back, pink and orange as I love to try out new yarn and seeing as it had nettles in I had to try. I'm currently using Scheepjes Whirl for a Begonia Swirl shawl!

Another company is Lovecraft from England. Similar wool as the Wool Warehouse. 1 yarn was sold out at Wool Warehouse, but Lovecraft had it, and postage was the same. It arrived to me within 14days normal international post to Australia. Lindyhobby has cheap hanks
