I know that this was posted over a year ago, but I'm so happy that I found it! I was coincidentally looking for a tutorial for a pillow cover to make using this EXACT yarn, even in the same colorway. Thank you for giving me an awesome idea for Christmas presents this year. I’m halfway through a pillow using mushroom/champagne velvet yarn...so pretty.....

To add a pillow insert I cut the bottom of the plastic bag open so that the pillow insert is essentially in a tube of plastic. Then the pillow will slide right into your work. Once it's placed where I want it I pull out the plastic bag. Works like a charm especially when it's a tight fit.

I couldn't believe my 👀 when I saw all the new crushed velvet yarn colors at Michael's a couple weeks ago...but of all the colors I wanted to get a skein at a time (tight budget) was the cinnamon pine!!! And believe it or not browns are super big with me too but that color really spoke to me
