I think sticking with the classics is the best way to go. I just started my collection and realized I've made some mistakes already. I do my research and not buy out of impulse or because it's the bag of the season. So far I've purchased the classic speedy, the neverful, alma and considering the pochette metis. With Chanel I will only stick with the double flap or reissue since those are the classics and in the color black. I feel everyone on KZbin is just over doing it with the Chanels. So nice of you to share your reasons of why you sold various bags! Chanel and Louis Vuitton are still my two favorite designers for handbags / SLGs. I also am into 3way carry / cross body option bags and don't have anything I want right now. Trying to rotate and use what I currently have, which could take awhile, haha. Awesome video!

I have to say I am agreeing and completely understand why you sold the bags you did about 6 ,7 years ago I was starting to have a lot of hand and joints my pain a lot of swelling some days and had no clue what was in store for me in the years to come after a lot of testing I was diagnosed with Lupus which so far I’ve been lucky as far as it not attacking any of my major organs ,anyway it causes severe joint pain and my top handle bags only like my multicolor speedy 30 in noir just wasn’t being carried it became to difficult for my hands which kind of stinks because it was for sure my unicorn bag but it wasn’t practical so now every bag in my collection has a shoulder option or crossbody option and I find I’m using every single bag now I had quite a few of limited edition speedys at 1 time I had my collection destroyed by a vicious ex after a very vicious break up while I think I would have sold most of them today I too had the Stephen Sprouse graffiti speedy in the same exact color as you the fuschia is still my favorite I had a size 30 watercolor speedy also mine was the brown I never got to carry that one before it was cut up and destroyed I would have surely sold both by now I’m more into bags that are not so loud I still am not a fan of chanel I tried to the jumbo for me their was no connection no fascination , no love like I have for my Louis Vuitton pieces I will forever be a LV fan I do however have a chanel seasonal Drawstring in deerskin chevron with rhuthenium hard ware and that bag I actually love that particular chanel bag I realized I wasn’t a fan of the classic and not a fan of the caviar because I’m just not a fan of any kind of pebbled leather ,sometimes it takes to buy a bag ,try a bag to realize it doesn’t work for you I say if chanel makes you happy than you buy what you like Ash I think you have a beautiful collection and I agree I’m not liking the new LV direction either great video !

My beautiful friend Ashley, I think your updated handbag collection is absolutely gorgeous and perfect for you and your lifestyle and that's what matters!💖 I was just curious if you have ever tried on the LV Pochette Métis and if so did you like it as a crossbody? I just got it in the monogram canvas for Valentine's Day and I love her!! I wear her cross body all of the time.. I just thought you might like this bag style because of the 3 compartments and the flap closure with the S-lock,it is a little similar to Chanel. You have a stunning collection and I hope you don't get any bad comments about letting go of some of your LV bags because you are such a beautiful and sweet person who knows what you like and what works best for you& that's really all that matters💋

I agree with you on the direction of Louis Vuitton. I don’t like the majority of what they are coming out with. I haven’t fallen in love with any other brand so I am holding out that maybe Louis Vuitton will come back to its senses. Great video. Thank you!

missidoleyes I know.. it was very very difficult in deciding to sell each piece. Unfortunately I couldn't bare to see them just sitting in my display now getting use for a year or more. Practicality is taking over as I enter a new phase in my life.
