Baguio, the coolest city in The Philippines with its mild weather and majestic mountains. I had the pleasure to explore the Baguio along with its culture and lovely people - The Igorots.
We left Manila victory liner bus station and headed to Baguio. The ride for a first class took around 5-6 hours with a light traffic. We stayed at our cousins house and they welcomed me with so much food.
The next day we explored the city of Baguio. We went to SM, an open mall with canopy and natural air con! During this time of the year (February), they also celebrate Panagbenga or Flower Festival where they do a parade and close the road for a week. We manage see to the stalls selling food, drinks, souvenirs and so much more! It was a very busy every corner so we went to Melvin Jones.
The next day, we visited La Trinidad Benguet and had dinner at Dap-ayan - the meeting place, where we had lumpia, buttered chicken and pork kini-ing. We then went to a Cow Boy Country Bar where the locals gather. It is a Texas themed bar similar to those that we see on American movies with saloon, cow boy hat and rugged looks. It as a fun night meeting locals and teaching me their Igorot dance. We had a great time and left early hours in the morning.
Was amazing meeting my filipino families 🇵🇭
The next day we celebrated my birthday and then made our way back to Manila.
