One main reason baguio is different to other places in the Philippines is the people.they are called igorots which they value their territory,very well disciplined people,.maybe because they were not colonized by spanish unlike most part of the Philippines thats why they kept their tradition and culture.

Miss my city. Born and raised in Baguio and I think about it everyday. Can’t wait to go back home again. For those who don’t know. It’s a walking city and a university city. When are the rainey months and does it get flooded thx
@StormvueАй бұрын
@@MichaelSmittySmithScottsdaleAz mid May to August is the wettest months. You do still get some storm here and there from September to November. But it’s just mostly a rainy afternoon which is not bad cause it adds to the charm of the city. And yes it does get flooded once in a blue moon if a really strong typhoon hits. But it’s usually just rain with some wind during the rainy season. If you’re up top the mountain then you suffer more wind. But if you’re at the bottom you suffer more water. But like I said it’s not like that every season. It’s just best to keep it in mind that it could be that to better prepare.

Welcome to Baguio city. I’ve been here for just under eight years now, I’m originally from the West Indies a US territory known as Puerto Rico a Native American and that’s why I have a Spanish surname. This place the Philippines is much like my home in the West Indies only smaller and a little bit hotter. Baguio is a great place to live it is cooler than most other places here, I prefer it because I grew up in northern climates mostly New York City, New Jersey. But if you want to keep away from the heat this is the place, not that it doesn’t get hot here it does but it is mostly cool year round. So enjoy your next trip here and if you need advice let me know, I’ll answer what I can.

Baguio city could go down until 11°C, if its at the nearby provincial areas especially Atok, Benguet it could go down to 9°C or lesser even and 6°c was the coldest ever recorded and usually felt just before sunrise that vegetables could even frost. Coldest months are from December to early March usually peak coldest are from late Jan to February. But that's not always the case, temperature and weather always differ. Its a tolerable hot during summer, it rarely goes up beyond 26°C. Overall though, its a chill place to be especially if you came from warmer areas
