Good to see you again my friend. That is some crazy stuff for those prices but if you can do it then go for it. My favorite zoa is the utter chaos zoa. Have always loved them. Had a huge colony until Frankie and Charlette decided to host them. Finally had to cut the 7 or 8 that were left and moved but they have never been the same. Now they host in my torches. Clowns are such clowns I must say! Great video as always!

I like the aoi zoanthid. Blue and yellow pops real well. Bought a frag with 3 polyps and now have a rock covered. They grow insanely fast in high par areas.

So, when are you raffling off a stratosphere for us? Please??? lol. But for real, any suggestions on how to deal with or remove a discosoma and elephant ear mushroom infestation? They are overtaking my system. These suckers are EVERYWHERE. Every surface of rock and along the back wall. And I swear, I am pulling out 2 or three a week that are just free floating around the tank looking for a spot to settle into. Its to the point I'm considering replacing the aquascape to get them out of there, but that doesn't take care of the ones living on the back wall. There is one massive elephant ear that has begun to bubble up like a bounce mushroom that would be nice to keep, but will only lead to the same problem a couple months down the road. Any suggestions from you or the community would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone. And Remy, so good to see you again, can't wait to see the new system you have. Shane backer back in the day? How about when aqua SD first released it. Shane says he was part of the master krak releases but all Shane did was attach himself to Rudy of golden basket, who has arguably released some of the most high end zoas. Don’t get me wrong Shane has grown into a great retailer but the history of the Strat goes back a lot further!

Zoas just get me upset in general. You can’t sell 1 single polyp as a frag lol. If you want your customer to have success you gotta give them at least 2-6 polyps lol.

I'm in this hobby for 20 years plus and everything I grow out i basically to another reefer or less but never try yo profit off of something someone can enjoy as much as I do.i truly hate and use the word humbly but charging car prices for corals just not my thing. I think with how rare this zoa is the price makes sense. Very few people have it and it's easy to kill. Only farms hoping to grow it out and wealthy collectors will be buying something that incredibly rare. If it becomes easy to aquaculture the prices will drop as supply increases.

A lot of people get the stratosphere mixed up with the stratocaster. The stratocaster is a lot cheaper. The name game...it's silly but they are two very different zoas.

Honestly, stuff like this happens in every hobby. Try getting a Rolex for retail these days. 😂 Unique reptile morphs in snakes and geckos will also go for crazy prices while the more common ones are fairly cheap. Same with zoas...you can easily find common ones at the LFS for $5 or heck, ask a friend in the hobby and you might even get them for free.
