You are far from the first person to fly at Atlantis. Bahamas customs has a restriction on drones being imported into the country. Permission from the minister of finance(PM) is needed to enter the country with one. Which is what you stated you had to obtain. You probably didn't obtain permission to fly at a resort like Atlantis however nor did you receive authorization from ATC to fly at the altitudes you did in those flight vectors.

You should try some filters to help with exposure i just got some from polar pro and they are awsome they were on the tv show shark tank and actually got more money than they were asking for

Was there a reason or chance they would deny you? I purchased one last minute going beginning next week. Would I have enough time to obtain a permit to go? Was there a chance they could have kept your drone and not return it?

They will not keep your drone, only detain it temporarily during your trip if you don't have a permit. You need to call the prime ministers office and obtain a permit. If you go there with the drone and without the permit they'll hold it until you get one physically from the Prime Ministers office. Here's a possible way around it all though... CARRY THE DRONE INSIDE A BACKPACK WHERE IT IS NOT VISIBLE. They rarely check for it. The reason I got stopped was because my drone was outside of my backpack strapped to the back

+Devin Rahimzadehs snowboard I'm not here to claim that I am the first, if you're the first to do it, good for you. However, for those interested in visiting the Bahamas, you do in fact need a permit from the prime ministers office. I have a copy of it if anyone needs to see an example.

It's been a bit since this was posted so your answer may not still be current but did you have to get permission from Atlantis too or did you just wing it? I got my permission but wasn't sure if Atlantis had any policies on it.
