I'm playing a kobold paladin, who was betrayed by the red dragon that his tribe served... He prayed for the strength to survive and save his tribe, and when Kurtulmak didn't answer, he prayed for anyone who would hear him. Bahamut answered. And so was reborn Gorroq-Gar the Argent Talon, a servant of Bahamut who will reveal to his people the lies of Kurtulmak, Tiamat and all their treacherous brood. Safe to say, it is and will be a task he will most likely never see completed.

One of my players once used wish to summon Bahamut... Now there's a big part of me that wanted to rule that logically that shouldn't work, deities are above wishes after all, but it was just so damn cool and this was a wish from an item not one where they were high enough level to cast it. So I informed him that deities are not beholden to wishes or summons, however he would be made aware of your plea and plight... Next round Bahamut showed up and cinematically obliterated the Balor they were fighting and gave the party the benefits of a long rest After session I told the player that this was one of those things that only works once

My dad played back in the 80’s in AD&D, said he rolled a d100 to save himself from an incurable disease. He got a 00, summoned a good deity, got a magic armor, magic sword, and stengthened. Those events are super cool

In my D&D game we just had a session where we found a book written by Bahamut. Our Kobold Rogue got turned into a Copper Dragon wyrmling. My Faerie Artificer examined the book magically and took a near fatal amount of psychic damage, when she came to she decided to offer a prayer to Bahumut as an apology and is now a convert to the Platinum Dragon. She's attending Strixhaven, but was a member of the Izzet League of Ravnica before being accepted so she's very used to Dragons being in charge. Checking on this because I don't know anything about him after 3.5.

I have a homebrew campaign I am planning on starting soon. One of the key story elements is that they are tasked with travelling with the avatar of Bahamut to regain his godly powers (also through retrieving his 7 golden dragon servants from the corners of my world that are also trapped in their polymorphed form of gold butterflies). This avatar he has for my story is in the form of a long silver haired young man who is completely in his humanoid avatar form until the moment in the story where the PCs unlock his potential through the combined MacGuffins of the dragon servants and the BBEG dark dracolich God's throne/ phylactery. I don't know how I should run Bahamut as a humanoid avatar of himself.

I've just started my first D&D session and this is exactly the type of character I made, a paladin worshipping Bahamut so this information is priceless for me in my early days of being a player. Many thanks!

I recently discovered the celestial lancer from Valda’s spire of secrets released by mage hand press. The idea of going 11/12 celestial lancer, with 2/3 levels in paly and the rest in sorcerer, just seems to bring a whole vibe and build alive for a dragoon.

I pitched a bronze dragonborn tempest cleric under Bahamut for my first campaign. No convincing required; my DM seemed to love the idea.

i really appreciate this video as its going to be a huge help DMing my variation of Mines Of Phandelver. ive got a Dragonborn Paladin in my party and this has been invaluably insightful. but my man, the music at the end, dude you gotta turn that down or speak up during the main portion of the video. its jarring to be writing notes and have that pop off in my headphones lol.

I'm in a 3.5 campaign and just made a half-elf Crusader of Bahamut. He's neutral good, but was raised in an extremist monastery to be his divine instrument of vengeance and power. We rolled stats and I dumped wis and int. He's not the brightest torch in the dungeon, and if he likes you he's pretty gullible. But he's got the fanaticism and faith to serve who he sees as the King of Kings. His idea of Bahamut is a lot like the one from Final Fantasy 15.

I am play as Wildhunt Shifter as way of the kensei monk and storm sorceress, she is the daughter of the Bahamut’s Acolyte (her mother was Acolyte) from her tribe, whom they worship dragon god for sense of justice and honor. However, she called upon him one time from the shrine to punish the evil cult’s general, which he did to by using the statue to scare the necromancer general, and her wizard party member defeat the necromancer general. Her party members only know she is Bahamut’s Acolyte, but there is the mysterious reason that her background is yet to be revealed.

Meanwhile I've made a White Dragon (yes you heard correct) Paladin Narmer (in this world Its draconic for curse/cursed) A Silver Dragon named "S'vettgarr" (evolution) recruited him into Bahamuts Accolytes, Narmer not feeling worthy of Bahamuts graces and gifts. His twisted mind has made him a Powerful Cryomancer who serves bahamut (built as a Hexblade Sorcadin), tho prone to violence Narmer works with S'vettgar as a counterbalance (S'Vettgarr being more logical and able to Slow Narmers Chilling rage). S'vett works on his Mastery of Lightning (sorcadin working towards his mastery over the Elements of the sky). Narmer is Highly intelligent (homebrewed the int) and not as Dimwitted as most white dragons, thru his mastery of Ice and cold it granted him clarity and insight (that and vecna revealing ancients forbidden knowledge, so rp wise it also threw his Int way up)

My dm has given our party members a crazy Deus Ex Machina for our characters. I am a human Way of Ascendant Dragon Monk in this campaign. My Deus Ex Machina is my body is a vessel for Bahamut’s soul.

I'm making a good allied inquisitor character but I chose the platinum dragon for his religion. Do you think that wouldn't fit with Bahamut's ways?
@SkullSplitter3 жыл бұрын
Hmmmm, probably would be ok. Depends on how far you take that inquisitor thing.

Would you have any insight on if it's ok for my amethyst Dragonborn vengeance Paladin to not be trying to talk down every damn bandit? He mainly joined the Order to learn how to fight demons to avenge his father and find his kidnapped and by now long estranged older brother 😅😁

I am playing a warforged sword mage (a 5th edition take on spell sword), that was a soldier in Bahamut's army in the war of the gods. So my character is a least 1000 years old but I am playing as a lawful good champion looking to do what is right because it is right.
