Actually, I am pretty happy with this ratchet. Its working surprisingly very good. Low profile do help in tight areas.

Thank you for another great video. I have this same design(mine has a handle like the comfort grip adjustable wrenches) but made in usa. I had the whole 3/8" SAE deep and shallow sockets, extension and ratchet set but I sold it all but the ratchet which I now regret

The slim head Bahco 3/8" ratchet (possibly the 7750SL) does not seem to be easily serviceable. Without being able to lubricate it with a synthetic grease, it probably has the highest back drag of any of my ratchets. Still a nice ratchet, but a minor annoyance.

I recently got a small 1/4 in Bacho ratchet with metric sockets and a wobble extension plus. In the back drag on that is absolutely awful just as bad as Chinese made Craftsman ratchets. Specially when I compare it to my Koken 1/4 and 3/8 Zel ratchets which basically have no backdrag. However the Bacho sockets seem to be of great quality. I was under the understanding that this was supposed to be as comparable to snap-on as they are known to make a lot of snap-on tools. I don't know if it's because it's brand new or slightly defective. Do I need to open it up and put some gun oil in there or something and remove the grease that's in there to possibly get it less back drag on it?

If you are talking about this particular slim profile design then yes 1/4'' ratchet has quite much backdrag comparing to 1/2''. I have the whole set with insert in my tool trolley and Its all was made in Spain. Now a days, these are made Taiwan/China. But even the 1/4'' I have is made in Spain has lots bagdrag which is shame. These are strong though. 1/2'' Ratchet are quite smooth. Lube will help a bit but not much. Bahco has exact same ratchet as Snap-on in dual 80 teeth design just fraction of the cost. May be you should try those if you are looking for less backdrag. Else Ko-ken, Wera , Gedore etc ratchets are very one of best for less backdrag.

@@MarQR999 I would buy 8150 without "sl" that ratchet has same internals as Snap-on. In German amazon its available just for 33€. I think they ship to USA too

I've been a Wera addict but I do have the Bahco S138 .... Like it but the ratchets need upgrading. I do like quick release but I do like the 80 teeth version. I have a set of SATA 120xp but never use them. Id like to put new Bahco 8150 7750 and 6950 into the set

Only Stahlwille 60 tooth (515-2K) is Made in Germany. Others are made in Taiwan.

@@carrepairandtoolsvideos lo q sucede es que en realidad el ratchet es solo para arrimar o acercar la tuerca, para aflojar se usa un mango de fuerza y para ajustar un torquimetro, por eso para mi no creo q valga la pena gastar tanto en un ratchet, pero si gastaria una buena suma de dinero en un buen torquimetro Pd: amo la marca bahco, es mi favorita, pero aqui en mi taller solo durara 1 dia y se va a desaparecer, en cambio 1 chino no lo quierw nadie y es demasiado comun 🤣
