Good to see another fan of Baikal shotguns here in the UK :) Although the single barrels represent HUGE value for money and are very useful, I'd recommend you get a Baikal over/under, which will be much more versatile and suitable for all kinds of general shooting purposes in the UK. The more common double-trigger, fixed choke models (70mm non-steel shot proof) in reasonable condition can be got for around £100 to £150. I highly recommend one of those if you are so inclined.

I've seen a few examples that I've been tempted by, but the cabinet is starting to get a bit full. I'll definitely get a double barrel at some point, just to round out the collection!

@@ApurtureSci Yeah I understand that sentiment very well😂 I'd also recommend a side by side shotgun if you don't have one, as every Englishman should have one of those haha. A good old reliable AYA Yeoman double-trigger, non-ejector SxS (70mm, non-steel proof) go for around £50 to £200 depending on condition. They are beautiful hand-made guns which are both sturdy and stylish. Much better engineering quality than a Baikal put it that way.

I think the long recoil pad and big comp, plus sights to me speaks of some bigger shells, possibly some bigger loads like buck or slug, but unlikely. but built as if to absorb alot of force before your shoulder takes a pounding.

I ve read somewhere, that o u baikals have a barrel selector on the trigger, that switches barrels when pushed forward.

God bless you

Thank you for watching! I'm not sure about availability in different countries. In the UK I reckon half of all gun shops have one or two of these for sale, and they're always very cheap. Baikal do still make them new, so I'm sure you could get a gun dealer to order one for you.

Please am interested. How much will it cost to ship to Ghana, in addition to the £20 selling price.

That's gotta be someones rifled slug shotgun. I'd say make some wax slugs and shoot them and see how the comp helps with recoil

G Gun I think you're right, it would make sense as a light, handy slug gun.

1:12 Doesn't that make it collectible? I mean, £20 for a shotgun in such a condition is an ungodly low price in itself, but if you account for the rarity of it, it's almost unimaginable. 2:18 The insciption "Модель ИЖ-18" simply says 'Model IZh-18'.
@ApurtureSci4 жыл бұрын
These guns just aren't in demand, I've never seen anybody take interest in one for any reason beyond being a cheap beat-around (almost disposable) gun. I think it's cool though.

And that's how wise people start their collections! When demand comes, you're already packed like a museum.

Are gun laws in the uk better than N.Y.?
@ApurtureSci6 жыл бұрын
Giovanni Guzzo I don't think so, although it might depend on what kind of guns you want. Let's say you wanted a semi-auto .22 with a 100 round drum mag, a folding stock, 12" barrel and a suppressor. This is fine in the UK, but not in NY. If you wanted a handgun of any description you're much better off anywhere in the US than here.
@giovanniguzzo72626 жыл бұрын
Now that you are “done” with airsoft reviews are any for sale?
@ApurtureSci6 жыл бұрын
Giovanni Guzzo I'm afraid all the ones I was willing to let go of were sold some time ago now. I've kept a few that I think are special, but the rest were sold to help fund my gun collection.
